- Bagore Ki Haveli was constructed by Amar Chand Badwa, the then Prime Minister of the Mewar state, during the reign of Maharana Pratap Singh II, Raj Singh II, Ari Singh, and Hamir Singh. Maharana Pratap Singh II ruled from 1751 to 1778. After the death of Amar Chand Badwa, the palace came under the control of the Mewar royal family. A relative of the Maharana, Nath Singh, took possession of this building.
A century later, in 1878, Maharana Shakti Singh of Bagore enhanced the palace's beauty, design, architecture, and surrounding area. He constructed a magnificent three-arched entrance gate as part of the main structure. Since then, this iconic building has been known as Bagore Ki Haveli.
Until 1947, the haveli remained under the possession of the Mewar state. After India's independence, it was taken over by the Rajasthan government and used as accommodation for government officials. After being neglected for nearly forty years, the government handed over this historic palace to the West Zone Cultural Centre (WZCC) in 1986.
बागोर की हवेली का निर्माण मेवाड़ राज्य के तत्कालीन मुख्यमंत्री अमर चंद बडवा ने महाराणा प्रताप सिंह द्वितीय, राज सिंह द्वितीय, अरि सिंह और हमीर सिंह के समय करवाया था। महाराणा प्रताप सिंह द्वितीय ने 1751 से 1778 तक राज किया था। जब अमर चंद बडवा की मृत्यु हो गई, तो महल पर मेवाड़ राजपरिवार का कब्ज़ा हो गया। महाराणा के एक रिश्तेदार नाथ सिंह ने इस इमारत पर कब्ज़ा कर लिया था।
सौ साल बाद, 1878 में बागोर के महाराणा शक्ति सिंह ने महल की खूबसूरती, डिजाइन, वास्तुकला और क्षेत्र का विस्तार किया। उन्होंने मुख्य संरचना पर शानदार तीन मेहराबों वाला प्रवेश द्वार बनवाया। तब से, इस प्रतिष्ठित इमारत को बागोर की हवेली के नाम से जाना जाता है।
1947 तक इस हवेली पर मेवाड़ राज्य का कब्ज़ा था। आज़ादी के बाद, इसे राजस्थान सरकार ने अपने अधीन ले लिया और इसका इस्तेमाल सरकारी अधिकारियों के आवास के लिए किया। लगभग चालीस साल तक उपेक्षित रहने के बाद, सरकार ने 1986 में इस प्रसिद्ध महल को पश्चिम क्षेत्र सांस्कृतिक केंद्र (WZCC) को सौंप दिया।
