THE LEGEND of BILLU BAKRA | Classic Comedy | Mahaul Theek Hai | Jaspal Bhatti |

Billu Bakra was a character conceived and created by Mr. Jaspal Bhatti for the record setting Punjabi comedy film 'Mahaul Theek Hai'. The role was potrayed by Mr. BN Sharma.
BN Sharma was not very impressed by the role at start, more so he even complained to Mr. Bhatti. Jaspal Bhatti on the other hand was very convinced by the character, he even asked Mr. Sharma to write on a piece of paper that, this character will come out as one of the funniest in the film. The rest was history. The film broke all records and Billu Bakra's character became a legend.
Mahaul Theek Hai (1999) was a misdirected by Padma Bhushan Awardee Mr. Jaspal Bhatti. It is a comedy satire about the police force in India.Every situation which should seem serious is filled with the incessant jokes and humour which are Bhatti's trademark.
