I watched this MAGNIFICENT performance last night in Santiago, Chile, at its opening in Latin America: The acting, dancing, sound, mis-en-scène and multimedia effects are very good. The story angle is powerful if a bit repetitive. The best IMHO was the fantastic characterization of animals, from Baloo to Bagheera, Kaa and the others. Outstanding acting!

Sacred music albeit poppy, doesn't reflect the sharp symmetry of the visuals and dancers. To me it sounds like the music was created first or separately. Wonderful visuals but would expect more artistic digging from Ms Pook. She's up to it.

They sold as tickets for kids but the performance was for over 10 year olds....Great show for modern dancers viewers but not for the family....Big disappointment probably using the Vogli's story for more tickets.... Money turns the world...artists now too....
