Perhaps root around for shorter screws that would fit the handle?? Or use a reinforced tie handle? Matching ribbon to the Doll stays or Leather strap? Or a covered wire hair noodle with a longer covered replacement wire threaded through the inside and reinforced with washers so the wire doesn’t chew up the cardboard. OMG! I'm going to have to make this, it's great for transporting your dolls on outings such as parks, flower gardens, parades, shopping ect for photos and having the change of outfits and prop accessories for different scenes. This is absolutely gorgeously awesome👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👍🏾

All screws thread in the same direction. So they're interchangeable as long as the length is correct and the diameter matches....

So even though they may be a little kink because of the screws 🔩 issues!! Just like the Tesla car, they had to work out 🏋️ quite a few issues, but still the car is very expensive. The way you measure and piece everything together, and the way you glue, only a person with an extensive ART background can do what you do. Funny, but back in the day, people who needed a suitcase and couldn't afford good quality bought cardboard suitcases. So they were a thing....
A lot of cases that you buy in the store are either made from foam or cardboard, tin or plastic.

The easiest thing to do, is cutting the point of the screw before putting them in place, measuring the excess
