    I was told years ago, the smaller the grips (more tight your hand is to hold) will contribute to more armpump. Ever since I ran pro taper pillow tops, and it really seemed to help.. but nothing beats practicing to ride with your hands loose and not with a death grip... loving the videos, I’m hoping to do my first video of my bike build now that it’s complete. :) just doing the small things now when I have time.. keep pushing out the videos! Your doin great!

      I actually just got some half waffles to try, hopefully they don’t tear my hands to shreds.. last time I raced my grips turned, including the wire, and was stabbing my hand . Hurt so bad, if these new ones don’t work out I’m gonna try the lock on grips..

      Sweet dude I hope it comes out good! Definitely making sure you are not death gripping helps a lot! Thank you man, I will🤙🏽

      I assume you mean *not death gripping” haha gotta use them legs! I had to learn this the hard way. Lol didn’t have the resources kids do these days. Here I’m talking like I’m old af, but only 24 🤦‍♂️🙃

      Egbert Wadman lol.. isn’t it a shame you have to say your not trying to be argumentative.. ugh our negative society.. anyway, appreciate the info. My theory on it was, tighter your hand(more clinched) the more the muscle is flexed. If your griping a pencil your arm is more flexed to make a tighter fist. Hope that makes sense of what I’m trying to explain. I agree with you with the weights thing.. I’d say your right! the pillow tops really helped me though or so it SEEMED. Yes I’m big into flexibility, and trying to get the muscles pumping prior to race without wearing out of course.. it’s that lactic acid I think that does it (armpump) . The best thing for me, was just riding more, and practicing riding with a loose grip.. it’s easy to get caught up in the moment at the start of a race and be squeezing hard.. I never had troubles with arm pump when I raced every weekend, but last fall I done a race without even being on a bike in almost 5 years (18yr old to 23) , and I had it worse then I ever had in my life! Couldn’t even feel my fingers or feel them pulling the clutch. I had never until then had to take a hand off and shake it during a race but I did. Lol I had started with intentions of going easy, but if I got a good start I’d see how long I could hang on.. what do ya know I got second off the start of about 30 of us, and went all I could do. Lol 😂

    Very well done. I am slow and a tightwad and never worried about modifications because I figured a lot of that stuff was a gimmick. I am now starting to rethink things because a few rides ago when I changed my springs to match my weight and found what a difference it made. Stay safe

      Yeah suspension makes a huge difference. Definitely a good investment in my opinion

    If you run a nitrous front bib it is heavier so makes you bike more planted in the field section's.

    Great video! I would choose to have the head milled before buying a pipe though. It gives a way better performance increase for half the price. Also the power valve mod, which is free! Keep on rippin!!!

      I would put a flywheel weight in it. It will help smoothen it out a bit

      U can have a bike that looks good, sounds good, runs good but if it don’t ride good and isnt comfortable for you you will never ride to yours or the bikes full potential. Every bike I ever raced in harescrambles here in NY first thing I did to all of them was have the suspension set up for me. Suspension set up for you is night and day difference then stock suspension.

    • @goinhot9133
      @goinhot9133 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Couldn’t agree more, and I’m a guy who was never fortunate enough to have suspension valved and set for my weight and riding.. just adjusted the clickers. Boy does it make a difference. Now I pay for it though and not my parents so that helps lol

      @@unadillariveroutdoors9690 couldn’t have said it any better I had a 00’ Kx125 that had a busted shock and it was like a ejecto seat it was so bouncy you couldn’t even ride wheelies on it cause when you set the front wheel back down on the ground from a wheelie it would try to buck you over the handlebars lol

    So..... just picked up a used Clark 3.2 gallon fuel tank. Natural colour. Does anyone have a good trick to being back the natural colour. It's got a orange tint to it now.

      Sand paper, nothing to heavy (300 or so) then to fine, once you’ve removed the outer layer of stain, with the tank empty, take a propane torch or something medium size (not to small, but not full size torches) and lightly go back and forth on it a few times. It works amazing for colored plastic so I’d imagine this process would work for it too. The heat just melts the top layer of the plastic and give it that smooth shiny finish like new... don’t burn the plastic, or get to close. Best to start off making passes like paint, and you’ll see it working. Obviously a good scrubbing first before doing this will help, don’t want it contaminated with dirt. Hope this helps. I’ve done it with plastic a lot and it’s shocking. You can TH-cam dirt bike plastic restoration and get a idea. Some use water during sanding but I don’t think it helps IMO.. I do it all by hand, and from a foot or so away you can’t even tell it’s been restored..

    V force reads give u way more torque than anything else.even a pipe. And fatty and gnarly are the same bend just rhe knarly is thicker metal. And the shorty makes the power band hit hard not what I want in the woods.q Stealth all the way for silencer
