Most of these questions are not in the 5169 Praxis II study guide. This is a whole lot easier. The guide that I have has a lot of function problems (linear, cubic, quadratic, exponential…)

Sooooo this covered the most basic basic basic part of the algebra portion of the test . . . pretty sure some of the easier questions are like these. Wish you guys had stepped up the difficulty so it actually prepared test-takers, but I can't complain because it's free. Thanks for reviewing the fundamentals in a clear way.

@@MometrixTestPrep I need a guide I don't have to pay for. I'm not even sure how I'm going to afford the test.
this is great and all, i'm glad it's free (most study help for the praxis cost money) but it really doesn't go into any trig or graphing or more complex geometry. it really just is the most basic stuff, which doesn't really help prepare for the praxis... most i really got from this was HOW to teach

#5 I'm confused on. When I do -7 raised to the 2nd power I get positive 49. So now you have positive 49 plus positive 6 and that is not 42.
Will there be many questions like #12 where the actual answer isn't one of the answers? Or did I miss something like "all decimal answers are rounded to the hundredths place"?

51:17 why its < ?
When you multiply or divide an inequality by a negative number, you have to flip the sign. Since we divided both sides by -2, the sign changed. Hope this helps. For more Praxis review, check out our study guides at www.mometrix.com/studyguides/praxisii.
Means, left side value is less than the value on the right side.
If the test was untimed, which it is not, this video would be very helpful. A new video showing how to get the answer quicker, without going through each and every step until the end, would be much more helpful.
