- Basic introduction of NPN and PNP proximity sensors.
Difference between PNP and NPN proximity sensors
PNP (Positive-Negative-Positive) and NPN (Negative-Positive-Negative) are two types of transistor output configurations used in proximity sensors.
PNP Proximity Sensor:
Output is positive when active.
Requires a positive voltage reference.
Switches the load to the positive side when activated.
NPN Proximity Sensor:
Output is negative when active.
Requires a negative voltage reference.
Switches the load to the negative side when activated.

Sir . Agar meger ke out put ko ham short karte hain to kuch nehi hota . Lekin uska out put pe to high voltage hota hai . Which cam make a heavy spike.plz explain sir
Megger mai power supply 9 to 12 Volt battery hoti hai is liye high Voltage produce karne par megger me flow hone wala current micro-ampere ya few mili amps hote hai, or current limiting circuit hone se Megger ke terminal short karne par heavy spark nahi hota.
