Wow you nailed every point I hit when I hire/train! Great video!!! Sad to say that there are loads of companies that would turn this video off in the first minute because they care not to be a company of integrity as you so eloquently speak of! Thank you for making the vid!

First and foremost, who in their right mind could give this video a thumbs down 👎
Second, and more to the point of the video, this advice is spot on, absolutely, positively, dead centered accurate. You nailed exactly what is needed to get an offer and most importantly, what is necessary training for an employee to successfully make the company money 💰
    Bravo and well done!

from when I first heard these podcasts being produced a few years ago it was the training the emphasis on making sure people understood the best practices not just memorizing them that had always made me want to work for a company that had a boss like this at the helm. I think one of my favorite podcasts was Jim Bergman talking about the reason he wanted to create his own tools for the longest time I have been upset with the inaccuracy the tools available to me.

I think my biggest downfall with interviews is asking the right questions or questions at all. The interviewers usually tell you all there is to know and then questions to ask are a blank for me. The last place I interviewed at I should have asked what makes the perfect candidate as that was pretty much implied to what they were looking for.

I wish more employers had the same mindset as you Bryan with a Y , now I dunno about the States but where I live you won't get the service manager on the phone if you're just an applicant, not gonna happen , I tried when I was looking for work and everybody hides behind a front desk phone number or an email address they never answer to ...

If you are a person for whom the job itself matters more than the social aspect of the job, and you work for a company operated by people for whom the social aspect of work matters more than the work itself, you are likely to be frustrated, unpopular and quite possibly the highest paid field employee.

I might have a bit of claustrophobia so working in confined positions for long periods of time might be a problem for me. Is there any work/instrumentation in confined attics or similar places that an HVAC technician might need to do?

I'd love to work for you. I'm in Michigan and I'm looking to get a contractor's license. I've been interested in the field for a while. I work for myself right now but I need experience in the HVACR world at a professional level. Are you hiring?

@user9823598246 I'm not completely sure I'm in school for hvac and according to what we learned once you're certified it's good for life. However when rules and regulations change it's the techs responsibility to keep up to date with the new regulations. So I dont know if that somehow revokes your certification.
