I purchased mTransistion from Motionvfx after your recommendation and after a bit of playing around I finally got it working for me and used it to compile my latest drone footage from a trip around the Australian coast. I found in some instances that by just dragging and dropping a transition I still had a few frames in the end of or right in the middle the transition that bugged me so to make it smoother I compiled the joint clips and the transition and then cut out the bits of the transition that I didn't like. Worked for me and again big thanks for all these tutorials! The beats effect is Awesome!

I just looked up 'cinematic whoosh sound' and came across all types on youtube / internet . I think Olufemii Tutorials has a free pack of sounds to download on his channel, and there are a few 'whooshes' there too :) good luck!
If you film your footy in 4K, render it out in 1080p you can crop your video without losing quality. Than you can just use transform to create the transition of the example!
Love your stuff KTP! One quick opportunity for improvement (as if you needed my opinion), stop whipping your cursor around the screen so fast!! Its very difficult to follow what you're saying while also trying to follow your cursor on the screen. You're giving advice on one area of the screen, which is where the eyes are at that moment, and then you whip your cursor all around (presumably trying to point out something with your cursor) and it can be difficult to figure out what you're trying to point out. Just a thought... keep up the good work!

you need to convert the clip to compound clip before applying the letterbox filter

it sucks fcpx doesnt have better transitions build in. recommending a plugin thats worth 1/5 of fcpx itself just for transitions is ridiculous
