100% Agree. However, many people actually need the OTC or flex benefits for utilities or food. Unfortunately, these people could not afford supplements with standalone pdps with ss income of only $600 or so. And with new ruling the carriers are going to be required to cover costs when benes are in donut hole, or coverage gap. So the people in the mapds are prob going to be paying much more in 2025. Ultimately the medsup and pdp are the most economical way to go, especially if the person has health issues. Sorry for the rant, you are right, its just sad when i talk to the people that just can’t afford it. Thank you for your content. 🥰

You can’t afford not to have regular traditional Medicare, if you’re healthy and never get sick and never have to go to the hospital and you don’t get old then by all means get Medicare advantage

Don't forget about HDG. In NY it's the only way to go. Most other states N should be strongly considered. G is just not a good value, especially with the annual rate increases.

What do you think of employer group advantage plans with nationwide coverage and a low MOOP?

Employer advantage plans are different than getting on a Medicare advantage. They tend to be better.

MA plans in vegas offer 100 days skilled nursing and moop as low as $999. A plan g is great but an MA plan could be a good choice for you in your zip. That's why it's very important to review your options and stick with the credible carriers on your area.

This is why the US needs universal healthcare just like they have in many European countries. They simply don't go through this nonsense in these places. Wheeling you out of a facility and dumping you on the street may happen but it is grounds for a very expensive law suit which the patient will win.

We will never have that in this country. And be careful for what you wish for. From what I understand, princess Catherine had her cancer treatments in the US.
