So true. Alex is one of the most unpretentious nicest people on YT and she is so talented. She is a painter, so I think she understands anatomy of face and colors the way others may struggle more. Such a joy to watch her videos. But I don’t think Nikki and Alex overlap in a way that I would not watch two (or more😊) of their videos in a row.

When I first started watching you last year, I couldn’t stop with all the great recommendations so I threw away every thing in my make up drawer that I had accumulated over the years and have been buying new stuff. That About Face foundation just doesn’t get the love it deserves. It performs like high end foundation and has such a range of olive shades for those of us who have a hard time color matching fair and Light medium olive complexions

29:11 my husband is a big, tough, roughneck and he does nightly skincare with me and also has the Omnilux mask for men. He works outside and I’m so glad he wears sunscreen without complaining. I hope Mitch gets consistent with it.
I'm going to be 57 this summer and between you and Gabi I cannot tell you how much I've learned and how much more confident I feel about applying my makeup. I'm so glad that I am definitely brought into the new century and not still applying my makeup like I did when I was a high school student in the 80s LOL!!! I was lucky enough to get rid of the high teased hair and keep up with trends in regard to hair but for some reason only slightly kept up with makeup trends. Thank you so much for changing my entire outlook literally and figuratively! 💋💋💋💋💋

I love these style of videos by professionals showing their favourite products, it’s really helpful. PS: I further wanted to add, that talking about fragrances can be difficult because it’s so personal. Even though you said you’re not a fragrance professional, you are correct when you mentioned you’ve become accustomed to the perfume your husband gave you. I’ve been told, that when you can’t smell your own perfume, it means it’s for you. If you smelled it during the day and/or were bothered by it,(in my case giving me a headache or worse migraines) then it’s not meant to be yours. So you are correct in your assessment, in my humble opinion. 😉

I had given up on American sunscreens but I absolutely love the Naked Sunday's clear serum. I am excited to try the ciele powder! I use powder sunscreen to set down my to cream sunscreen and set again if I reapply it. Mostly because it will never do enough on its own.

I need a lip liner video. Not kidding, like I know the importance of liners but finding the best ones that don’t contribute to lipstick bleeding and finding the best color ranges is such a challenge I don’t bother. But there is a major gap in my collection for lip liners for this reason.

I’m excited to try the Sweed mascara! You’re the second person I trust to use and review that mascara recently. Very interested to see if I can also use on my bottom lashes because I typically have issues with mascara on bottom lashes as well. I’ve been eyeing the Ciele SPF powder for a couple months but have not tried it. I was happy to hear your review on that one and definitely will pick that up soon.

I am loving Ciele! I have all of their products now. The skin tint is stunning and the liquid blushes as well. I just recently got the sculpting/bronzing stick which is their newest release and it’s fantastic. Plus they all have SPF and are acne-safe. I hope you get the opportunity to try some of their other products!
Have you tried Clinique Bottom Lash mascara? It’s my holy grail and the only thing that works on my bottom lashes without transferring. Highly recommend!!

I’d love to see a “makeup in the car” tips video or just see you film a video in your car while you do your makeup and just answer frequently asked questions or something? I know the lives are getting bigger so answering all the questions is hard. So maybe some pre-filmed frequently asked questions videos in different places like the car etc, to give that “live” feel without being live would be cool!!

You are my favorite makeup artist. I have learned so much from you and I’m 54. I love that you have dark hair and dark eyes and olive skin like me, so I can see what looks good on me. I fell in love with Le Labo in London about 4 years ago and have been wearing it ever since. Another 13 is still my favorite. I’m with you on not smelling it anymore while wearing it, but can smell it when I first put it on. It makes me so happy. I’m on my 4th bottle. Lol

I’m excited to try the Sweed mascara! You’re the second person I trust to use and review that mascara recently. Very interested to see if I can also use on my bottom lashes because I typically have issues with mascara on bottom lashes as well. I’ve been eyeing the Ciele SPF powder for a couple months but have not tried it. I was happy to hear your review on that one and definitely will pick that up soon.
It’s so funny you mentioned your signature fragrance. I was on vacation 1 week ago and a lady that smelled amazing passed by me. I loved her fragrance so much that I stopped her and asked what it was. It happened to be Le Labo Another 13. That fragrance is amazing. I will be purchasing soon!

I am loving Ciele! I have all of their products now. The skin tint is stunning and the liquid blushes as well. I just recently got the sculpting/bronzing stick which is their newest release and it’s fantastic. Plus they all have SPF and are acne-safe. I hope you get the opportunity to try some of their other products!

Oooh I love le labo. I have about a dozen of their fragrances - their city exclusives are some of my favorite (LA, New York, Tokyo). However, The Noir is my go to! Literally I spray it and instantly feel so sexy lol❤❤❤ love the may favorites!

Nikki! I love your videos so much. I’m also someone who does my makeup in the car before work a lot. I’d love to see a “makeup in the car” tips video or just see you film a video in your car while you do your makeup and just answer frequently asked questions or something? I know the lives are getting bigger so answering all the questions is hard. So maybe some pre-filmed frequently asked questions videos in different places like the car etc, to give that “live” feel without being live would be cool!!

Im using the Ciele tint &’protect serum tinter serum foundation. Feels good on my combination/oily skin. Hate the dropper bottle tho. So messy.
One if my favorite videos… yes to sweed mascara you mention, curls the hek out of my lashes. I do not know how or will i ever use lash curler. Too clumpsy. Lawless, sames, love the color posey also purchased lavender gloss. Love their pressed powder! Do carry with me at night when i go out grocery shopping! Ha! Lately, so true.
