In 1984 Chanel came out with Coco. My husband loved it so bought it for me, I love it too. He bought it for me every Christmas. He passed away in 2021 and for the following Christmas my grandsons bought it for me. I only wear that scent.

I am 54 and LOVE Nikki so much, I am really enjoying wearing make-up again thanks to her, and I am no longer scared-to-death of bronzer/blush or shimmers .. I love to get my glow-on now!!! Nikki's tutorials have really really helped me so so much ❤

So true. Alex is one of the most unpretentious nicest people on YT and she is so talented. She is a painter, so I think she understands anatomy of face and colors the way others may struggle more. Such a joy to watch her videos. But I don’t think Nikki and Alex overlap in a way that I would not watch two (or more😊) of their videos in a row.
@@jelena2752 I agree, her artistry gives her such an understanding of light and dark as well as colors. She looks at things in a way I’ve never seen a conventional makeup artist look at things. It’s very inspiring.
That About Face foundation just doesn’t get the love it deserves. It performs like high end foundation and has such a range of olive shades for those of us who have a hard time color matching fair and Light medium olive complexions
My descriptions of perfumes is pretty much “yeah that smells great!” 😂 Base notes? Sure, that too.

Omg! I am part of this group! LOL! Unlike you Nikki, I am a perfume junkie; I just smell things that I love and I would be hold my collection is at least 150+ bottles! Please don’t judge. Lol
So many good recommendations. When I first started watching you last year, I couldn’t stop with all the great recommendations so I threw away every thing in my make up drawer that I had accumulated over the years and have been buying new stuff. Of course now that drawer is overflowing. But I think my makeup looks better now than it did 20 years ago. I’m 68 years old. You are like my personal shopper! Thank you

I'm going to be 57 this summer and between you and Gabi I cannot tell you how much I've learned and how much more confident I feel about applying my makeup. I'm so glad that I am definitely brought into the new century and not still applying my makeup like I did when I was a high school student in the 80s LOL!!! I was lucky enough to get rid of the high teased hair and keep up with trends in regard to hair but for some reason only slightly kept up with makeup trends. I need a lip liner video. Not kidding, like I know the importance of liners but finding the best ones that don’t contribute to lipstick bleeding and finding the best color ranges is such a challenge I don’t bother. But there is a major gap in my collection for lip liners for this reason.

29:11 my husband is a big, tough, roughneck and he does nightly skincare with me and also has the Omnilux mask for men. He works outside and I’m so glad he wears sunscreen without complaining. I hope Mitch gets consistent with it.

I’ve never gravitated to any form of orange or peach blush. That was until I tried the made by mitchel liquid blush in mango something. It’s stunning!! Especially for this time of year! Made me re think more orange tone blush!

You are my favorite makeup artist. I have learned so much from you and I’m 54. I love that you have dark hair and dark eyes and olive skin like me, so I can see what looks good on me. I fell in love with Le Labo in London about 4 years ago and have been wearing it ever since. Another 13 is still my favorite. I’m with you on not smelling it anymore while wearing it, but can smell it when I first put it on. It makes me so happy. I’m on my 4th bottle. Lol

Le Labo is fantastic. We use the Le Labo Hinoki scent hand wash in my home, and it makes our bathrooms smell like a spa! Hard to believe, I know - but it’s true!
I had given up on American sunscreens but I absolutely love the Naked Sunday's clear serum. I am excited to try the ciele powder! I use powder sunscreen to set down my to cream sunscreen and set again if I reapply it. Mostly because it will never do enough on its own.
I love all your brown/neutral/pink lip combos and basically all your beauty recs. Would love an updated favorite lip products video because I am also a huge lip junkie!!! I’ll probably end up buying everything you mention 😅

Something I have been loving about the new liquid bronzers ie Makeup My Mario and Saie is that they don’t have the little poof packaging! It is so much easier to keep clean and work with. Once I run out of my Charlotte Tilbury I will be buying one with the doe foot

I have been loving the Ciele tinted serum as well as the powder. I absolutely love them. I just ordered the Naked Sunday mineral SPF so I am excited to see how it wears under my makeup. I also just got my Lisa Eldridge cream eyeshadow and eyeshadow palette I can't wait to try. I saw your video on her make up and thought it would be great. Oooh I love le labo. I have about a dozen of their fragrances - their city exclusives are some of my favorite (LA, New York, Tokyo). However, The Noir is my go to! Literally I spray it and instantly feel so sexy lol❤❤❤ love the may favorites!
