Saturday promenade around Esplanadi and Aleksanterinkatu in downtown Helsinki

Join me on a Saturday promenade around Helsinki’s vibrant city center! We start at Esplanadi Park, passing the iconic Kappeli restaurant, before strolling down Aleksanterinkatu. Along the way, we take a peek at the popular ”Mummotunneli” bar area located in a beautiful passageway, and admire the stunning architecture of the Pohjola-rakennus building. We pass by Esplanadi’s boutique shopping and take a quick stop at Robert’s Coffee Jugend housed in a beautiful Art Nouveau building. We conclude our walk with a beautiful view of Helsinki Cathedral approaching from the historic Sofiankatu. Experience a scenic weekend walk through the heart of Helsinki!
