I do not agree. Alex did stay because she is a pro and it is normal in her job of consultant to be" fighting "with people like that. You can clearly see that the woman is controlling with her way and taste and the husband let her do things even if HE does not agree with her; he loves her and wants to make her happy. It is a nice and sweet couple. It is complicated. And I really admire Alex is doing her job in spite of the situation.

It is ABSOLUTELY against the law. It contravenes our very strict Health & Safety regulations. A hotel cannot even have a window that you're unable to open. Building regulations in the U.K. Require ALL bedrooms to have a window. You have to have access to be able to escape from fire.
I am surprised those would be rooms in the basement, did not appear to have any windows, what are the building codes like in the UK? That door needed the hinges cleaned, and silicone spray instead of WD40. So obviously there are little to no suggestions made in the revisit episodes then? The backyard still looked less than attractive, what was with all the posts around the new patio? I doubt they are building a fence around that little area, and the lawn needed tending. By reading other comments, the reviews of the Paramount are not positive, too bad to see another of Alex's remodels go south again!
Those posts have LED lights on top and do provide illumination and look quite nice after dark. They are quite popular now and are available in both permanent and temporary install models for use at events.
30 minutes of a repeated footage only 10 minutes of revisit. Why bother making this episode? That being said Alex saying that they “get on her tits” is something I could hear everyday. Alex is truly a national treasure.

Without wanting to sound racist, I do think the ethnicity of hoteliers has great bearing on the success of their businesses. The standards of White Anglo-Saxon Protestants are very different to those of other nationalities, it is ludicrous to buy into a hotel end expect 'here we are, come and stay with us' without doing any sensible research on the customer base initially. It is these owners failures that is contributing to their own downfall.
