I love love LOVE the letter to yourself. It is so dead-on. I beyond the moon and stars happy for you and I know you are going to take this to a whole new level! Girl I'm gonna blame u if I popped a stitch... Have me bawling like a baby over here in Vancouver... Your letter has reminded me of the old me and the things I wanted out of my journey...being two yrs out I take those things for granted n shouldn't ever...thank u for reminding me of where I came from...Sarah u are amazing n a amazingly beautiful butterfly... Can I just say, your letter is so much what I have been wanting to tell myself but never have. That was deep. And thank you so much for sharing that.
When You say you wish you can tell all the pre-op's....You Just did Sarah!! Everyone that finds this that is just starting out, you are telling them too! I am so inspired and teary eyed watching this. You have touched me & I'm so happy I found you. I feel so hopeful for my future as I watch this. Thank you for being you & doing all that you do.
Your video and letter are very touching and inspirational. I have just started my journey a month ago and now feel like I will be able to become that beautiful butterfly as well. I have so much to say Sarah and I'm afraid you'll want me to shut up already! this has to be one of the very best wls yt videos ever. You have such a beautiful way with words. what an incredible letter to you. your letter shows how much you worked on you prior to surgery. it shows how much desire for freedom you had, despite having no idea what wls could bring. congratulations on every single tiny particle of love of self that you have gained. the caterpillar is so cliche because it is so perfect. it is just like that. every day I am shocked by yet another discovery of how my weight affected me, my life and my family. I am so grateful for you and the way you inspire me and so many others. what a blessing to touch others lives and to make a difference. You are truly beautiful Sarah. thank you for sharing you. Hi! I am amazed u had such foresight a year ago. Love how u said being strong enough to admit failure, and brave enough to do something about it--cuz that the key--we have to always be willing even when the "fight" makes us weary. At least, I think so.

That letter was everything! You said you wish you could say those words to all pre-op vsg patients and I just wanted to say, YOU ARE! Or at least you are to those who ate obsessive planners/researchers and who are unable to subscribe without watching every video in order...lol. Anyway, thank you!

I am so happy for you and your success! I have been hopscotching around your vlogs for the last little while trying to get as much info as possible. I recently started the pre-op process - blood work, psych eval, etc. I am really interested in learning more about why you chose Mexico and that facility. I have considered going to Mexico myself as it is MUCH cheaper than where I am looking to have it done. If you have talked about the why before just point me in the right direction. :) I have watched your vlogs when you were in surgery etc. and read your blogs about it. Any info would help. :D Thanks again for your honest account of this process...I hope to be free one day too.

That's Sarah. I think it's such a great idea to write yourself a letter. I love it and will do that for myself as well. I have gone back and watched many of your videos and have learned a lot. Some of my favorites are this one, the one with your hubby and the one with Nerd in Oregon. I have my first consultation with my surgeon. I am excited, but fearful. Do you have any suggestions for questions I should ask him at the first consultation? Thank you for your help and keep it up!

Sarah, I am soo proud of you! And also super proud to call you my friend. You've come such a long way in this journey and you will continue to go even further. Meeting you and the other girls and guys on this path have truly been one of the best things in my life. So thank you from the bottom of my heart for that. Looking forward to being old crusty flabby bitches together (unless we have more surgery of course lol). But seriously, you look amazing and are totally one of my role models :) I love you girl!
