Memento

Memento was a piece created as a means of reminiscing on the last four years of my time at Brock University and all of the projects I made along the way. I intentionally aimed for a nostalgic style while also focusing on poems surrounding the concept of memories and changing times. I wanted to place more of a focus on how I set up some of these scenes in my previous videos but doing so in present times. The main thesis of this video is that nostalgia has a place in our lives but the simple fact of the matter is we can never return to our past even if we were to try and recreate it the world around us will always have changed. Time waits for no one person and we must not let ourselves get swept up in the rose-tinted glasses of yesterday.
