    Chinese cities are actually peaceful and well-organized. Only the bad stereotype ruined its reputation. Most people around the globe think that in China only has dirty street foods, slums, old temples, copycat stuff etc. But in reality, there are soo many unknown beautiful, rich and clean cities across China. Keep up these kind of videos so that the world will know what China really is! Support from Malaysia :)

      China definitely has benefited from developing far later than the rest of the world. They were lucky enough to see the negatives of poor planning and have been able to utilize proper urban planning methods that other countries have only recently started adapting themselves.

    I just discovered your channel, and only realized how beautiful these cities in China are. They seem better than a lot of western ones. The amount of urban integration of greenery is just massive, it makes the city look incredibly pleasant. I saw your Chongqing video, that city is really quite surreal.

    Nanjing is the finest city in China, encompassing the essence of Chinese history from ancient times to the present day. It is also a clean and orderly modern city. According to the Chinese perspective, in terms of beauty and grandeur, this city surpasses all others in the world. The climate here is mild, the land is fertile with mountains, lakes, and rivers, and you can find all of China's exquisite natural landscapes. The residents here are cheerful, courteous, and have refined manners.

      作为大陆居民,感谢你乐观的评价。我确实在南京生活过一年有些不同看法,不是为了抬杠、故意和你唱反调。这个视频的内容是真实的,但是是一个很单一的视角。首先你可以看到路上人很少,这是因为疫情导致居民大大减少居民外出的频率,并且部分社区还处于封控中甚至无法出门,而在平常年景,马路两边的行人是非常多的,甚至有些嘈杂,非机动车道也不是那么干净(想起那年夏天的时候南京特别热我和朋友在路上走的经历。。。)。其次,马路上都是机动车,本身也不会创造太多垃圾,这个视频的天气也太好了(但南京大部分时候没这么好的天气。。。),自带滤镜效果。
      而我又去过日本东京、京都等几个城市,真的要比南京干净、整洁太多,至少一个档次(我从日本回上海之后的冲击感,而南京比上海还要脏乱一点)。总体而言,大陆大部分城市基础建设确实还不错,尤其是一些新区,可是稍微居民区多点的地方就会出现脏(现在好多了)乱的情况,各种摆摊的还有不按秩序停放自行车、电动车的。
      希望你有机会来大陆玩。

      @jishunbu1047 ปีที่แล้ว +20

      @@garyzhao8159 我是南京人,视频里出现的地点,近一年都没封控过。视频一开始是江北新区,那里本身就是近10年内新建的,多数是5年内的新建筑,人也相对较少,是干净和规划更现代的新城。过桥进入主城区后人就相对多了,路况也复杂起来。至于你说的天气,基本上南京日照好的情况下,就是这个状况。日本我去过东京、大阪、名古屋、北海道、福冈和长崎,确实干净,这点值得学习。你说你是是大陆人,但你并不了解每一座城市,倒是在不了解的情况下抹黑,显现出你严重的倾向性。希望你有机会来南京玩。

    Beautiful city! The countdown timer at the traffic lights is genius, EVERY country should have that, it eliminates the stress of "Hurry up man, the light might change and I'm 3 cars behind, go go go". :) And the lines drawn for the left turning lane is nice also, showing you where to wait in the intersection. The drivers are pretty bad though, no signaling, driving too fast or too slow, racing from one light to another, driving on the painted line and more.

    南京这个城市非常特殊,历史上曾用名超过50个,但凡有点想法的诸侯帝王就要给它改名,虽然身处江南但历史上一直是南中国的核心,号称江南文枢,自古得南京者北可进取中原问鼎天下,南可划江而治割据江南,自2600年前南京建成开始,未有丢失南京而不亡国的政权;南京的防御体系又非常特殊,上自汉末下迄民国都是守江必守淮,在淮河大别山襄阳建立防线,上游的庐州,襄阳,荆州,安庆为防御支点;近代最特别一次是日军主力从上海进兵占领南京,彻底改写了中国近代史。

    I am from the southern part of India. American politicians are really really jealous that a communist country that was once deep in poverty has risen to become a prosperous highly developed country and STILL going strong. No country can become so well developed by abusing its citizens (as the western media expect us to believe). Hats off to the Chinese people for all the hard work they have put in three decades to turn China into a country envied by the world (except USA).

    I think among Chinese big cities, Nanjing might be tied as T0 with Xi'an. The nearby areas along the tall ancient city wall have so many stories, and since Nanjing was not supported for early development and as a result didn't suffer large scale destruction after 1949, a greater part of the city is more genuinely historical (in the city prime) than other ancient Chinese capitals including Xi'an. Most of the older area and streets are covered with mature trees which are one of the kind in China. The autumn colors in much of the city are spectacular. The city name is the most frequently mentioned in historical Chinese literatures. Last but certainly not the least, the city was arguably the most important center for both the survival and revival of Han Chinese civilization since the 3rd century, and still might be doing the same in the near future.

      Yeah…Both Nanjing and Xi 'an are one of the four ancient capitals. Nanjing is the only ancient capital located in the south of China. It is the capital of the last China, and it is also called the second capital of the North and the South with Beijing.
      Nanjing is located in the Yangtze River Delta, the most economically developed region in China.
      It is obvious that Nanjing is much more developed than Xi 'an.
      Xi 'an was the capital a long long time ago, while Nanjing was the ancient capital throughout the ancient and modern times.
      In fact, Nanjing is still the legal capital of Taiwan today🫢😶

    China has one downside just like Russia, and the downside is that China doesn't really advertise itself around the world. Not so many people in the world know about great places in China and how actually beautiful it is. And my country (Russia) also doesn't do it, unfortunately. So there's still a lot of wrong stereotypes about China and Russia in the minds of people across the globe. The USA did a really good job popularizing their country via holiwood movies and other ways so a lot of people think that the US is like a paradise (even though it's not but they believe so). I do wish our 2 counties finally learned how to tell other people about our best things not the worst ones. And the language. Chinese language scares many people with its complexity so they don't even want to try and learn it. But it's not as complex as it seems, it just needs more advertisement

    • @中国街景
      @中国街景  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, many countries in the world know very little about China, and feel that the Chinese are not free, that China is very polluted, that China is very poor and backward! Chinese men braid their hair! This makes me very puzzled. It may have something to do with some unscrupulous media deliberately smearing China. Street view videos cannot fully show China, and they may be more surprised if they see the neighborhoods and home environment where Chinese people live! Why is their downstairs a "park"? Why don't they go to the supermarket to buy vegetables and daily necessities, but use mobile apps to buy them? And it's delivered to your home within an hour? How do they have central air conditioning? They also play PS5, XBOX? How do they have such a big TV? How come they also use voice to control appliances? How come their little ones have Legos too? and many more……
      The things I mentioned above are very common and normal in China, and I don’t think it’s strange, but some friends who don’t know China will think that Chinese people should not have such a life, and they will find it incredible!
