Reminds me of my first car, a 73 VW Bus, blue and white with a white interior. I sold it to buy a 1968 Dodge Super Bee. I've had many muscle cars through the years, but wish I had that VW!
It did have a computer and the fuel injection was always a nightmare. My 75 was a horror show. I still miss it a lot even with that. 71 was a good year, 73 and up started to develop issues as VW added more technology. This is a beautiful Bus though.
My father had an orange and white VW bus almost like this one here, only his was a 1972 model. (He also had a '63 before it, and a '74 after.) Side note : VW buses could be ordered with an automatic transmission beginning in 1973.
I have a 79' blue and white bus. Mine is an automatic & I love it! Don't get me wrong - I'd love to have a manual to have more control over shifting, going up & down hills, etc but it's really nice to be able to drink coffee and drive without worrying about shifting!

@@ggolds5 these are dual port carburated engines. No fuel injection. That didn't happen until later

Thanks, it was shot on a GoPro Fusion, which shoots in 360. The panning effect is done in post-production using Adobe Premiere.

I used a GoPro Fusion. Kind of a steep learning curve (it films in all directions at once) but it's what allowed me to do that 360 pan at 3:18
