I also like his 1979 classic, "Feels So Good", which was the official theme song for the 1980 Winter Olympics held in Lake Placid, New York. That was the year that our rag-tag, scrappy hockey team won the gold medal with a victory over the heavily favored, former Soviet Union juggernaut. They were the superior team, no doubt, but our team gave it their all on the final game, and eked out the victory by the skin of their teeth. It's considered one of the greatest upsets in sports history. Anyhow, I grew up at a time when radio stations were not so formatted by genres as they are today. You could hear Led Zeppelin, Stevie Wonder, The Beatles, John Denver, Marvin Gaye, Jim Croce, ABBA, Glen Campbell, and many others all on the same radio station. Not to mention, my parents took us kids to jazz/blues festivals, as well (whether or not we wanted to go 😄). That laid down the foundation for my appreciation for all types of music. As I got older, I explored a lot of world music, classical music, bluegrass, metal, Broadway, opera, etc. I consider myself musically, well-rounded. I thank my parents for that. Getting back to jazz, a few of my favorites are Dave Brubeck Quartet's, "Take 5", and George Benson's, "Breezin'". I also love Herb Alpert's, "1980", from his well-known classic album, "Rise", which was supposed to be the 1980 Summer Olympic theme song, but was never used, due to our president Jimmy Carter's decision to boycott the games' host country that year, the Soviet Union 🙄. No worries, though: the song got to shine, nonetheless, as it was later used for coverage of the 1986 World Cup in Mexico 🙂. "Rise", and "Angelina", are a couple more of my favorites from that same beloved album, as well. Okay, I think that I have talked your ear off enough, 😁. Before I go, I would just like to make one, tiny request, and that's if you would consider the possibility of covering Chuck Mangione's, "Feel So Good", Herb Alpert's, "1980/Rise", George Benson's, "Breezin'", or the Barry White project MFSB ft. The Three Degrees, "T.S.O.P (The Sound of Philadelphia)". Myself and others, surely would be appreciative. Cheers 😊🇺🇲✌🏾.

When I was young and played guitar, I listened to a lot of breezing albums. I started liking Herb Alpert when I became interested in wind instruments. 재즈란 것이 라라랜드의 대사에도 나오듯이 눈에 보이지 않는 전쟁입니다. 기본적으로 앙상블이 조화로와야 하지만, 솔로에서는 서로의 기량을 뽐내는 성격이 강해서 그렇게 보이실수도 있습니다. 다경이는 어리지만 그런 자유로운 분위기를 많이 경험했기 때문에 여기까지 올수 있었다고 생각합니다. 핸드폰 영상으로는 그 분위기를 알기는 힘들고 현장에서 보시면 얼마나 분위기가 좋은지 느끼실수 있을겁니다. 이 날도 정말 축제 분위기였습니다.

just noticing that the entire band is like "this kid is unreal!" really young one...whenever and where ever you can get a chance to play, do it. you really have all the goods to make it a long long way!
