    Minis are definitely the way to go if you want to get started doing arcade or vending machines. The only cheaper way to get started would be gumball capsule type machines but they don't usually do that well by themselves and only work as an add on for an existing location.

      If you have one of the big bubble pedestal gumball machines and you set it at an ice cream shop or something like that, I'd ask the owner if they'd be willing offer a free small cone to customers if they use the machine and get a specific color gumball. Can help increase sales in the machine and their commission would be greater as well and could possibly attract customers to their shop for a chance of a free cone.

    Great video!! I recently sold my full line vending including my locations. For me it was the time involved to shop for the vending machines in order to get the best deals. Minis are so much better!!

    lets not forget that full line is harder to get locations in general. As compared to mini machines. Just more options because it's size and because it's not perishables

    Obviously the initial investment of the machine itself is significant but the long term profitability really depends on the price per play, cost of the prizes, and the probability of the payout strength. Right now I have a 50 cent per play mini, the cost of my prizes range from around 50 cents to $1.25 each, and I have probability set to 1/4. Is this about what everyone else has things set to? Interested in learning more about recommendations for this

    Listening to friends and family about this type of business has been discouraging. I"m looking at bulk candy and claw machines and common theme is people don't carry cash anymore and most places already have them. For bulk candy I think that statement is pretty true but I"m not so sure mini claw machines are placed in all locations that are profitable and willing to take a machine.

    My last question would be. In the UK everything is becoming cashless... EVERYONE uses card now unless you're of an older generation. Are there options to buy mini claws with a card machine and how would you set the whole process up?

    • @XtremeVending
      @XtremeVending  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You can purchase and hook up credit card readers... they support Nayax. I actually have 8 mega mini that are arrive here in the next few days... i am going to try and make a video installing the nayax credit card reader and post a video of it. It is new to me so hopefully that video can show you the process of adding a cred card reader.

    I'm a locator I close 50% of places I pitch mini cranes to. I could never do that with snack/soda go with mini cranes. That being case it's not as easy as you think the big boys are getting into mini cranes and they do not play. IE google NEN.

  • @webventures

    Suppose you gross $500 with 2 machines as you mentioned near the end of the video. How many prizes would have been won and how much would they have cost you? What would be your net after cost of goods sold and paying the owner of the location? BTW, I subscribed to your channel. :-)

    This video answered so many questions for me. Thank you so much for the info. I'm wondering about the quality of the machines from China versus the US. I'm thinking of purchasing mini claw machines and other types of arcade machines as I am planning to invest in an arcade family entertainment center, so I'm just wondering if you have any thoughts about it? If you were to make an arcade center, would you buy the machines from China or the US?

    • @XtremeVending
      @XtremeVending  ปีที่แล้ว

      Well kinda a funny thing
      . All the usa suppliers gets their machines from other countries... so no matter what you get your machines from out of country... the benifit of a usa reseller is you get your machine with in weeks instead of months.

    Hey mate, great video, I just recently bought one of these, and while it worked for many plays it doesn't want to go up and down anymore. At first I thought the string was tangled from an unfortunate grab (which I believe is partially true as I was able to fix this, the string is now not tangled.) However upon turning it on, the up and down still doesn't work, Left right, side to side and grab all work fine. Do you know what could be the problem?

    The minis are a great idea but what about thieves? do you bolt down the machines?

    • @webventures
      @webventures 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The locks look kind of flimsy. I have seen machines on which you can install bigger, more secure locks. An absentee owner location such as a laundromat makes it easier for thieves, so you units need to be secure. Laundromats are good. They provide entertainment for people waiting for their loads and they usually carry lots of change. They can also get change from the laundromat bill changer machine.
      Thieves usually avoid machines where there is lots of foot traffic, such as a grocery store or restaurant.
