1986 ShowBiz Pizza Place / Rock-afire Explosion Cyberstar Diagnostic Tape

This is the 1986 diagnostic tape produced by ShowBiz Pizza Place, which includes the new bitmapping patterns that shows began using in the late 1980s (this is different than the original bitmapping used by Creative Engineering to play shows prior to this time). For your listening pleasure, the data track has been removed because it's just high pitched squealing to human ears. There is however, some voiceover work at the very end for the lighting segment, featuring a familiar voice heard on the Concept Unification Installation Video. Enjoy!

I always wondered if Showbiz requested “closeup quality” masks for the show on Cyberstar videos. Not that masks on other shows looked bad, but these look like they were painted especially carefully. Fatz still looks melty though, or perhaps he has a snap too tight at the top.

Same, so far the only individual movement diagnostics from 1980 that seems to be around is the one for Fatz. I honestly would love to just see more footage of the prototype Rock Afire Explosion in general, or even picture quality enhanced version of already known footage considering that the videos of the prototype Rock Afire Explosion were digitized during the 2000's giving them the terrible resolution compression of early internet videos.
