I find it so funny how much they have to make Kat graham look hella basic on tvd and never show just how truly beautiful she is

I thought her wardrobe and wigs were bad. The only outfit I loved were when she was in the prison world and she was about to kill herself in the garage. The other outfit I like was the one when she put her black sunglasses and sped away in Damon's car. The last outfit I found gorgeous was the one at Caroline and Stefan's wedding. The best outfits I did love were from Katherine, especially her dresses.
They didn't want her to outshine Nina, Kat is gorgeous.
You can tell Kat is fed up with TVD writers. Most of the male leads hinted at wanting romances with her character & it would make perfect sense to do so (especially Damon). It's not surprising, I mean look at her, she is literally drop dead gorgeous.

Rose if you’re not black, it can be difficult to utilize a black character. That is the truth. All the white characters got these amazing and complex storylines but Bonnie was always the magical negro. The one always relevant whenever the white characters needed help. Her love interests where also poorly executed. As long as she wasn’t with Damon or Stefan , she didn’t pose a ‘threat’ to any other main character, like Elena/Caroline. Her choices were ‘safe’. Jeremy was Elena’s brother and no one really took serious romantic interest towards Enzo. If I wrote for her, her and Damon would have had more than a friendship. They even have source material for their connection, although in the books they never dated, it is said and implied that they have feelings for the other and have a deep connection to each other. I would’ve delved deep into her family history, dedicating whole episodes to her family from the Salem Witch Trials era. Learning a lot more about her family, having her friends come and save her too instead of her doing that for her friends all the time. She deserved to shine and it’s a damn shame that the writers didn’t let that happen.
Kind of get what you guys are saying But in my opinion Bonnie and Enzo had one of the best love stories on the entire show, it came out of nowhere but I absolutely loved it

Kat looks fucking HOT. I wish she would look like this on TVD, i hate how the writers make her look basic even though she look hot af regardless but honestly look at her here! She would slay if they wrote better for her.
apple rose Exactly. They didn’t know how to write for Bonnie because it’s hard to do that when you’re not a black person. All of her white counterparts got these amazing complex storylines and Bonnie was just ‘the help’ most of the time until season 6 when she was trapped in the prison world. All her romantic pairings were anti climatic too. I feel that they just paired her with anyone another main character wasn’t involved with , like what they did with Jeremy and Enzo. If she was written by a black screenwriter, trust me, she would have been better developed and used.

Jordan Washington that’s absolute rubbish. Firstly, bonnie and Damon getting together wouldn’t have served the greater meaning behind the friendship between them. The whole point is that Damon has a real friendship with Bonnie that he doesn’t taint with sex like he does with all the other females in the show. He respects her and loves her as an equal and doesn’t objectify her. It shows his character development and path to redemption AND that is what makes him worthy of Elena in the end. People that understand this wouldn’t want Bamon to happen because it would be horrible writing at wouldn’t serve the characters. Also, Ian and Kat have got chemistry on screen but there’s a difference between chemistry and sexual chemistry. Secondly, there are many other characters in the show that got far less character development such as Matt and Jeremy. Kat didn’t start out as a good actress and her acting ability, while it did grow, is not on par with Ian’s or Paul’s.
@@spet4428 BS the writing for bonnie was shit and she barley had any screen time compare to the rest of the cast. Kat was always a good actress.
