for thanksgiving in Canada which ours is the second Monday in October is to celebrate the harvest and all we have been blessed with all year. It’s a day to spend time with friends and family. Most people will have either a turkey dinner with all the fixing or a ham dinner with all the fixing. The side dishes depend on what each family likes to have. The basic dinner is turkey , mash potatoes stuffing/ dressing and vegetables. Special side dishes usually depend on where the persons family Immigrated from. my dad’s side of the came from Finland so we have a special molasses rye bread we call Christmas/holiday bread and a rutabaga casserole. From what I know of thanksgiving in the USA It’s pretty much the same in the USA except it the last Thursday in November with a lot of peopled watching football all day. Hope that helps you understand the holiday better than the google description.
Heritage day is the south African equivalent of Thanksgiving. Where u get to spend the day with Ur family and loved ones and eat and to show gratitude ("thankfulness") for everything you are given. Historically I think it has something to do with the red Indians. Maybe someone can clarify
Hi! I’m glad Abbey likes the blue ❤. I have a question 🙋 are you doing another stocking next year? I’m still working on mine for Clyde. However I would like to do on for each member of my family. I just have to find some one to make them in to the finished product. I could do it but it been years since I’ve done sewing machine work and I have one it brand new I bought years ago on Black Friday 😂 I just didn’t know if it something you are working on every year! I think it was back in march of this year when I found stamped cross stitch and your videos. I love to cross stitching but my math dyslexia got so bad it was more aggravation than anything it why I diamond Panted so much but since finding stamped Cross-stitch, I’ve not diamond painted at all. I do have the next one pick out.

It sounds like it is really unsafe there. Halloween here is not like it used to be to be. People, many years ago poisoned candy so the patents don’t take the kids around to houses like they use to.
