Hey Sloth, I love your content! You have inspired me to try some crazy things and I came up with a deck that I didn't think would work but it actually does! I'm doing the best i can with the cards I have and I think you would be able to improve this deck list with all the cool cards you have. The point of this deck is to survive until you can have the forge and doubling season on the battlefield at the same time and then start dropping planeswalkers. Getting to draw off Lillie every time a forge token dies just feels great. You know... it was a while ago when i still went to FNM but i remember the early days when a mountain + swiftspear hit the field and i was just waiting with my +100 life Ajani. Good times
Same here, I still remember that the most scary 1 drop was Isamaru, Hound of Konda.. A manacing 2/2 with a downside for 1 mana! Fnms were fun, real thrill of a tournament:) Even won Cabal Therapy Once!:D And Ajani combos, are always so wild, it greeted me when I started playing historic, so much white aggro with lifegain :D
Hey man, I wanted to ask about the deck you submitted a few days ago to Sloth - the one with mindsplice and mystical teaching. In Sloth’s video, all of his opponents scooped. However what is the main win condition of the deck? I usually can clear out the board, but what comes next? Restless reef I feel tends to get removed
I love your self-awareness when you misplay! You're an amazing player, love the games! EDIT: not gonna lie, that Get Lost on Unholy Annex was pretty clutch. I'm curious if you might find success in opening some slots for Authority of The Consuls?
Hah, I learnt to think about misplays from the comments - now it's part of me forever 😂🤷♂ Yeah, I'm pretty sure that without get lost - winning would be insanely hard :) For authority I don't think it would fit the deck, it's more of a tool for control, lifegain isn't main strategy, if anything I heavily considered adding Lay Down Arms which is amazing against other aggro decks - but land base is surprisingly little plains, so I just went with this current version :)❤🦥
I'm always amazed at how well Sloth can pick up a deck, and pilot it while recording all in one day! Especially the more complex decks that have a lot of choices and decisions to make. He's incredible!

How do you prevent your creatures from just being destroyed the instant they enter the battlefield?
You can see it against black deck - you just need to have more creatures than they have removal 😂🤷♂️🦥❤

Why is it when i play angel all i get is mono black or dimir with non stop removal and board wipes... lol
