      I do too actually. Saddlebags ones are good. I have the wrong bikes sadly, but I am thinking of getting a cheap off roader to explore on.

    It's awesome seeing it from a different perspective. That lane doesn't look anywhere near as sketchy as it was in person. I had a fantastic time meeting you ER. Hopefully we can meet up again in the summer 👍

      @@exeterrider linked brakes is not so much of a issue, it's non switchable abs that is the problem on other bikes

      For sure mate, beemers are known for that. My r850r is non abs but the others that are abs are nothing but trouble. Going down that step slope over 6inch rocks (even though the camera dosent show that) was a ripper. Every time you have it a little rear brake the body front would lock up. Really annoying. I would have taken abs over linked that day for sure 👍🍻

    Ashburton to Tavistock is great across the Moor,you can either take a short detour to Princetown and pass the prison or go straight on and avoid it. On the way back turn off just past 2 Bridges to Moretonhampstead and you can stay on the Moor most of the way back to Exeter.

      Yes that the way I came in. I'm still finding my way around there really. I'd like to explore more up there sometime.

    That looked like a fantastic day out ! Great weather, great scenery and great company. Smaller capacity bikes really are a surprising amount of fun. Riding a smaller more manageable bike relieves you of a lot of anxiety in tricky situations. Bigger is definitely not always better.

    That looks like so much fun! Wouldn't mind adding one to the stable ourselves, to dip our toe into off-roading. As you say, less weight to keep up. Nice vid!

    Dartmoor is a beautiful place, ER, and I go there as often as possible, weather providing. A quick sherbet in the Warren House makes the day.

    Very nice of You to pop up on the 2nd, to start with thought 'flippin eck', they've got cracking weather, how unfair but slowly came back down to earth and enjoyed your summer rambles on my old yomping territory! Thanks once again ( did you ever get to watch the Integra worrying auto downchange I sent you?)

      It was a lovely day.... Took me a while to post up! ☺️watched part of it when they were on the track but didn't catch the auto change issue.. Is that just a integera thing. I've never had a issue with mine or known anyone else with a issue.

    Small cc bikes are great fun. Curious Goose is a great lad too and he puts up some great content. Dartmoor is somewhere I hope to get back to in 2022 as well!

      Definitely, The smaller stuff is great, it would have been so much easier that run with the Guzzi for sure!Damn linked brakes!

      TBH, if I had a bike with linked brakes, I'd disable it, it is dangerous

      @@CuriousGoose if it created a warning light yes, but if not no. On an mot they test the brakes independently from each other

    Curious Goose does make me laugh, he's a great chap though, really rides that bike well and puts up some great content, and judging by this video he's definitely got the guts to put that 125 to the test. Great video mate, really enjoyable.

      Ha! not as harsh and fun as yours mate. I bottomed out the bike and broke the stand but that doesn't show on camera. Are you going to keep yours? the linked brakes ruined its capabilities really.

      @@exeterrider yes I’m keeping it as you said yourself it’s a fun bike no matter what other bikes you have.. also a friend of mine where I used to live has one so we can off road whenever the mood takes. Also..I have spent so much money on it, it would be daft to get rid now.

    The camera really does make green lanes look way less rough than they are in reality . I enjoy watching these kinds of vids. Much easier than making them 😀👍

      It did, they were 6 inch rocks. I scraped the bottom 3 times at least. Good fun though but like you say go pros flatten everything 👍🍻

    Looks good fun and your of course right on a light 125 it's gotta be a lot easier and indeed more fun if ya don't do a lot of off road stuff Likin the old Sinnis too look well . : )

      It was fun but the linked brakes killed it with locking the front up all the time. Thats why we had to abort really.

    I love riding across Dartmoor, cuz the views are amazing. The 40 limit on most roads makes sure you're getting time to enjoy the views as well. Can't beat a bit of dramatic music. I met Curious Goose a few weeks back.

    I presume you were on the south side of Dartmoor there, I live in North Devon. Didn't know any of the roads until you got to Ashburton. Where were you exactly as I would like to ride there. Don't think that the off road bit is in any way possible with any of my bikes though.

      We Started in Bovey Tracey then went to Dartmeet for the interview and rode around Widecombe, the Moors and then to Buckfastleigh. Absolutely fantastic day.

      😆 Yea that was funny. Linked brakes held us back alot. Front end kept locking up :(

      I haven’t ridden anything with linked brakes. On road probably not so bad, but off road…no thanks, abs is bad enough.

      I don’t like the idea. Often I just want a touch of rear brake. An example would be, if I’d run into a corner a bit too quick. The front brake causing fork dive can unsettle the bike.

      It was Bovey Tracy we met. Yes your right , the go pro flattens everything. It was so bummpy there I went over a rock and ripped a part of my sidestand off. It didnt help having combined braking as well.

    Green laneing might be fun but it is going to cost motorcycling in the end. Personally, I don't see either the point or the enjoyment in it.

      Riding green lanes is an awesome hobby, not sure why you say it will cost motorcycling? When it is done legally and responsibly it is a brilliant way to explore the countryside and get from A to B in a far more enjoyable environment than in traffic on tarmac! 🙂

      I agree with Hippo-Drones. I cant see how no one could not enjoy it. Not to mention its the best way to learn how to control a bike . I used to do a lot of quad biking when I was a kid , off -roading to me is incredibly exciting

      @@exeterrider I had a go on some quadbikes at a stag do a while back... I couldn't get the hang of NOT counter steering lol, kept crashing into the tyres at the sides of the track lol :D

      As a walker I've always found bikers far more considerate than cyclists.
