I remember seeing that scene for the first time in a trailer prior the game release... it legitimately gave me the creeps ngl
Gen has said in a panel that it was the very first scene she shot, and the most difficult one (because she didn't know what Saddler was supposed to sound like)
Imagine when Nick got to come home and tell his lil bro that he's the voice of Leon. Being re4 is their favorite game of all time. Also Capcom must love that Nick and Andre know the games. And their va for Leon is good at the game.

Be careful there are a lot of traps

Its so cute and adorable how much love Andrè put in his lines~ he can speak them all again❤ Hes a true fan himself
You, André, and Genevieve were all phenomenal in this game. I love the (platonic) chemistry between Leon and Ashley, I love the buddy cop duo between Leon and Luis. The character interactions feel natural and genuine.
I wouldn't have called it platonic. Ashley clearly had a thing for Leon by the end.
@@bossross8270 which clearly isn't reciprocated, which makes their interactions during the game platonic and feel very genuine (especially before the end). but believe it or not, attraction isn't as simple as just romantic or platonic.

@@bossross8270 I don't see it that way at all. In the original, sure. But in the remake I see it as more of her wanting him around because she just went through something traumatic and feels safe around him. That isn't strictly tied to romance.
I loved the way you played the village fight, it felt like if Leon was actually in the situation all running around and pulling slick and risky badass moves. Which is fitting since you voiced him lol

Nick, Genevieve, and Andre were absolutely phenomenal as Leon, Ashley, and Luis. Whether it's the sassy/comedic lines or emotional moments, their performances were just *chef's kiss*. And it's so awesome to see how genuinely passionate they're about the game!

Same as ResE7 where the Bakers got the "gift" from Evelyn

I have put so many dang hours into this game bc I'm quite literally hyperfixated on Leon. You did a wonderful job with your performance of him, and I'd love to see you reprise the role in other remakes in the future. I'm crossing my fingers for RE6 remake in the future with you as Leon 🤞

I keep coming back to this playthrough. Nothing beats seeing the actors themselves play the game they worked on and sharing anecdotes. It's especially always so fun seeing Nick, André, and Genevieve together.
I was playing RE4 and this came up so I had to stop and check it out!

One of the MANY things I LOVE in this Remake is that enemies can kill themselves and/or each other. In RE2 REMAKE, Mr. X would just push aside Zombies

You did tons of justice to Leon as a character and in my opinion, totally honored Paul Mercier's portrayal of him. I've loved RE4 since I was like 14, like many others, including you. It's been so fun and such an amazing experience waiting for this game and then finally getting to play it over and over. Thank you for the obvious passion you and so many people that worked on this game put into it, and the hard work you put into Leon as a whole, from RE2 to everything since then. 48:03 There's actually an even crazier way to do this that the speedrunners use. You don't have to shoot it through the window. It's possible to go right up to the door and shoot the lock off from the outside if you aim right at it through the door with a pistol.

My dad wanted me to go into voice acting. He said when I was a kid I could alter my voice to whatever pitch I wanted it. I retained that ability to a small extent but my dad always wanted me to go into voice acting. I used to say that was what I wanted too but I never knew how to even start going into that. So I fell into the medical practice...which I'm starting to hate very much😂

So happy that others are encountering Gen here in RE4 after seeing her in other projects they like! It was Supernatural for me, she played two different roles that were many years apart.
