whew this brought back memories! my bio parents divorced when i was 14 months, so i did the back + forth for a loooong time. and my swaps were never that pleasant b|c my bio dad was a dick. + honestly so was i when i was little. LOLOL + i didn’t realize til i was older how my behavior//excitement to see my dad + sadness to leave him affected my momms. [i was only like that b|c momms was the disciplinarian who provided structure, i.e. not the “fun” parent + dad just spoiled me beyond belief; at his house there were no type of rules or structure + minimal discipline. it had nothing to do w| how much i loved either of them but momms still cried sometimes.] anyway, just said all that to say i love that y’all co-parent + it seems like you get along w| the step-parent hella well, which is awesome cause i never had that + it really affected my relationship w| my step-parent who i now call dad. so. keep up the great work. Baby K is gonna be the one to benefit the most from all of this. it really is the definition of love + maturity. + i love to see it! 😀

Yes it’s not always easy coparenting but maturity and love for our daughter has always been top priority so it’s always been smooth for the most part. It’s not always easy having to share holidays etc but we know how important it is for her to do so. Thank you! Love and light!
