This was my paternal Grandaddy’s favorite song….as he lay dying we stood around the bed and sang it to him. He was at the point he could barely speak, but as we sang he rolled his eyes skyward, pointed up and would say “yes…yes.”❤️
My precious Mammaw used to stand up from her seat in the middle of a service, rear back, and sing this blessed old song! Somebody better hold my mule....

The most memorable service we had with the Horn Family at our church, several years ago, was when they sang old hymns with no music other than the anointing of the Holy Ghost.....God's Presence was so powerful that night at Grace Chapel in Toxey AL!!!
