Did I miss something? Wth was the first story? How did he survive? Didn’t the tnt detonate point blank to him and he dogman? Why go out in the woods? How could a creature like that possibly continue to exist? Why is it so stupid op? Could have just affixed some spikes or jagged metal to the front if one the sheriff SUVs and ram it. Why not just make Molotov cocktails? Or toss a bucket of petrol on the thing then light it up? Why not just put the explosive flammable barrels along side the bait cattle or whatever and shiot em when the creature attacked it?
Seemed like a series of incredibly stupid blunders and nonsensical plans.

Why does the first story sound like a movie I watched a while back? Logging disturbed something like a werewolf and it ends up killing a bunch of people in the town. Pretty sure this story is just copied with a few things changed. Dark was the night is the title of the movie
