Cold - With My Mind (HQ)

Cold is an American rock band, from Jacksonville, Florida, formed in 1986 by lead singer and rhythm guitarist Scooter Ward, drummer Sam McCandless, bassist Jeremy Marshall and lead guitarist Matt Loughran. The band has since gone through numerous lineup changes leaving Ward and McCandless as the remaining original members of the band. Cold has recorded six studio albums: Cold (1998), 13 Ways to Bleed on Stage (2000), Year of the Spider (2003), A Different Kind of Pain (2005), Superfiction (2011), and The Things We Can't Stop (2019). Within two gold-albums, Cold has sold over one million records in the US alone.
Subsequently, in mid-2004 the band asked to be released from the Geffen label. Around this time, Cold recorded the soundtrack for the video game Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy, featuring this anthenm; "With My Mind".

I had this opinion so strongly I began asking the band about it through Facebook and they actually responded. This is what they told me: "Song is owned by midway games. Cold doesn’t really have a say in it being released or not"

Considering that Midway went bankrupt in 2010, it's sadly unlikely we'll be seeing this remastered. Unless someone can navigate the legal morass to get the rights back.

Sorry for such a late comment after the vid came out so long ago but i gotta mention a story to this song. Along while back when the game released at Software ect (Past Gamestop store name) i was with my assistant manager and we would be doing something in the store, helping customers, ringing them up, or just organizing merchandise. The XBOX system kiosk had this song on a timer to play every hour or so. It was funny, he and i had been so traumatized by hearing this song play out SOOOOO MUCH that whenever the chorus came on "WITH my MIIIIIND, With my MYYYYY ~IIIIIND!~~~" we would join in and sing those lyrics no matter what we were doing. It was hilarious and traumatic. Customers would look at us like we were nuts. I miss those days and still listen to this song about once a month.
