Honestly, if I happen to love in such a dull and blind way that I get abused everywhere, that I say to my face "I went on a date with another woman", "I don't like you", the man on duty would have to go back apologizing on my knees and maybe and just maybe I'd forgive him. She lives a first love, lost in a romantic dream, towards a cold despotic man who always puts her in a corner due to prejudices and fears. The question that a person must ask himself is "is it worth it".... if you think about it and reflect, the answer is clear.... IT'S NO....

Most of the comment seems like they only watched the clips. But you know what guys, this drama is kinda refreshing and cute. This is one of my fab chiness drama 11/10. All cast are super good. Maybe I watched it multiple times already and I still love it. The ML and FL has diff personality that compliment each other. ♥

I love this Season 1 more than Season 2.
The actors here portrayed their respective roles amazingly.
In Season 2, it got me confused because the script & timeline had changed from Season 1.
For example, Han & Niannian have already registered their marriage, but in Season 2, they were not married at all.
Only towards the end of the drama, they got married.
So, there's not much continuation from Season 1.
It's not Cyber security, but AI.
Most of the cast from Season 1 were not there, like Grunt, Xiao Mi, Demo, Solo, Ai Qing, All, Ou...
I wonder if it will be better not to title the drama as Go Go Squid 2.
On its own merit, it's a good drama, too.
the 2nd season focused more on wubai and appledog, and act more like a spinoff instead a direct sequel. and if i was not mistaken, it has another official title but literally known as gogo squid 2 for an easy search among the fans, and i also dont watch it much because wubai and appledog dont match in my eyes despite how cute their act around one another during the 1st season

In Season 2, another actress acted as Appledog, which I find that it's more matching for Wu Bai aka DT.
Like I said before, it's still a good drama provided one don't relate too much to Season 1.
I was confused initially when I watched Season 2 when the sequel doesn't follow or match with Season 1.
Once I overcome this confusion, it's really quite a good drama to watch.

I can't stand cowardly people. If you aren't willing to fight for what you want or value most in life, then you don't deserve it. Trying not to hurt someone by hurting them is the weakest trope writers use in these dramas. Written by people who have never experienced a real relationship.
Not being racist but, common theme in Cdramas is the anti in-laws against the relationship and either the ML or FL that won't go against them to fight for the relationship. I mean, come on! Do something different for once.

She is really pathetic but these storylines are always so ridiculous, I will dump the person I love and hurt them because I don't want to hurt them. In a few episodes they will get back together and suddenly he feels differently about hurting her. Even if he did it because her mother told him to she shouldn't get back with him after what he just did

She basically served as the mat where he cleaned his shoes throughout the series. Already from the first episodes where he ran after him like a madman is unwatchable. I would like to tell the writers that this is not love, but obsession, love is something else, the girl from the beginning runs after the untamed curmudgeon and does everything to conquer him. She's a little girl who still plays with dolls and he's the tough guy who doesn't have to ask for me. He leaves her 100 times and she stands there getting beaten up and waits, honestly it's time you wrote decidedly different female characters, the character is not funny, it arouses pity.
Right? The only Chinese dramas I truly truly enjoyed was "Love and redemption" where its the female being strong for once and the male loving always and "Sunshine of my life" where the female knew her worth and never got bullied by anyone because of love.
Don’t know why people like this season more than season 2. Season 2 was way better, hero actually loved her truely

I like Yang Zi but the beg of the show give me off vibe. I don't like type of character even though the character is cute. I mostly watch her costume dramas which is much better. CN drama need to add more independent and strong women roles. There are some but majority are like older dramas only some young ones. I'm sure gov has to do with it too.

I couldn't get into this storyline... it was cringy from the start, but knowing she goes through this type of relationship...makes me not want to watch it.. don't get me wrong, the guy is good looking at times, but he also pisses me off.
P.S:
If he cheated on me...the only way I would ever forgive him...is if he let's me slap him so f*cking hard, that I'd leave a handprint, of all the pain that he caused me...so everytime he cheats, or looks in the mirror...he would see all the pain he caused me, all the chances, I gaved him. He would never cheat, or be with me, again. But then, this is a tv show.

What is why Chinese plot writers are weak… they have so many episodes so use everything without logic
The self pity written into almost EVERY male lead in Cdramas is crazy. If you're talking about representation, how about some stronger Male Lead characters. Ones who are more balanced emotionally, or don't have so overinflated egos, or think that not speaking is a good way to communicate, because surely writers can find some good "real" men to emulate.

Wow! I completely agree with the other comments. Both FL and ML are weak characters but at least the FL is trying to fight for their relationship. If you are willing to let go of a great SO that you truly love and is your lifemate for something stupid or popular opinion you deserve every type of hell imaginable and hopefully that dumped SO shows you how they can make it without you and gives you that same energy tight back at you when you try for reconciliation. Fate allowed you to meet for a reason, not for you to stomp and mistreat that love. Writers DO BETTER! We deserve to see strong FLs and MLs that honor their love and are willing to fight tooth and nail for each other.

Ya era la historia del primo y lo que hicieron fue dejar a esta pareja en segundo término y ya nada más se vieron esporádicamente cuando se suponía que era la continuación de su historia. Creo para mí gusto hubieran terminado bien lo de ellos y después hacer una tercera parte de la historia del primo. En fin lo cierto es que para mí está es la mejor.
