Athens Services Garbage Truck on Residential in Glendale?

- Yup an ex-Whittier Condor/Heil Rapid Rail from Athens Services collecting trash in the City of Glendale. I'm not entirely sure why Athens was collecting residential here but I believe they were helping the City who might've been experiencing a staff/driver shortage.
Not much else to say other than enjoy this somewhat out of place truck. Big thanks to the friendly driver and to Athens Services for making this video possible! Thanks for watching!

thought they put a Harley motor in this Condor at first. well we know who they'll contract resi to if that ever happens

Residential is next. Give it about 10 years. Some of the owners that got the contracts have been told about it by council. They’re focusing on commercial first. Before they begin talking about it.
Coty of glendale is short staffed. I don’t know how king this will be going on for.

Aside from it having a really noisy motor (making it sound old? Not sure how to word it). I like the old style arm on it and how it still has the CNG sound it makes when stopping. I've always enjoyed condors like this, they are just cool. Sure wished ALF didn't go out of buissness.
