    Glad to see you back at it! This is interesting, and honestly, it handles the camera weight better than i expected. I wouldn't have thought anything smaller than 2.5" would really be suitable for the moonlight kit. I recently built a 5" 2Fiddy frame out with the moonlight, and i have been impressed with the video quality. I guess this 2" would be a decent option for when sub 250g is critical.

      Being a channel that mainly does product reviews there just hasn't been much come out in the micro space recently. I suspect it will startup again as I believe many companies rushed to get out product prior to March 16th when the FAA RID went into effect.

    a small trick I use to secure my batteries to my quad is a narrow strip of velcro (the stuff thats sticky on the back) on both the battery and the quad. Its enough together with the strap to halt most ejections without adding much weight at all.

    • @NickBurnsFPV
      @NickBurnsFPV  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Great movie, it was fun to watch. I have a question, how does this drone compare to the Flywoo Flylens 85, is there a big difference in flight?

    • @NickBurnsFPV
      @NickBurnsFPV  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think there is, the flylens85 is 2s so its going to be lighter in flight and more viable inside, I also felt the flylens85 could freestyle better. On the other side the gofilm20 will likely do cinematic shots better outside as it has more weight and therefore be impacted by wind less.

    • @NickBurnsFPV

      flylens85 all the way. Unless, the only flight goal is flat flight with the walksnail video system. Then we have to know what batteries we have on hand, if we plan to fly near other people or animals etc. The likely wind that the flight environment might have.

    Is walksnail better than dji? like penatration or video quality

    • @genericfpv
      @genericfpv 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      im a walksnail guy that used to be DJI - its just different, maybe not quite as good on penetration and quality but its half the price and you have much more VTX options so its more flexible, different tools for different people

    • @MCsCreations
      @MCsCreations 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It is for long range, because it can go much farther... But image quality... Not really. But it's close.

    • @SikhFPV
      @SikhFPV 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Penetration is less on Walksnail, DJI Caddx Vista & Original Air Unit has a hard limit of 4 miles (it can go much further but they put 4m restriction on it) the O3 Air Unit however has no limit although it says 12km in product description (probably due to legalities) I’ve seen people go 18-20km. Walksnail has higher latency too, DJI is the best with Walksnail coming in 2nd, I mean not like there’s much competition.

    • @MCsCreations
      @MCsCreations 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@SikhFPV I've heard the hard limit for O3 is 23km. And the latency is smaller with Walksnail as well.

    • @KOrnhOliO1
      @KOrnhOliO1 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      No, it's been tested and shown it's not as good, but not bad! 😊 Just about half the long range when flying close to the ground ( see JB's range test when flying down his long road). And not as good of penetration of objects. DJI can easily fly completely around large buildings with little of any loss of picture clarity. I haven't seen much testing with Walksnail, but what I saw was ok, but not nearly what DJI is capable of. Course, both in long range and penetration they both hammer HDZero (Analog2) by a gigantic margin... It's not even close, there's actually no comparison!
      Walksnail also is MORE EXPENSIVE with DJI Integra goggles going for $349 everywhere and V2 goggles going for under $300 in Like New used condition. They also do analog too, the V2's. And damn well too!
      Walksnail X goggles are around $480.
      DJI's cheapest VTX does 120fps @ $140, which I don't think the Walksnail is that cheap for that performance. They have cheaper ones for less performance, of course.
      The biggest difference by far is the reliability and durability!
      Different WORLDS!
      DJI is virtually bulletproof! Ask around, almost no DJI pilot had ever had a defect or even a burn out of a VTX and never a problem with the goggles. I for one own much of the gear and never even the smallest issue. Walksnail's X goggles have issues with overheating. From my experience working in the electronics industry for over 35 years, overheating is one of THE WORST problems you can possibly have. ☹️ Overheating burns out complete circuit boards and can take others with them! It's horrible. I would touch those goggles with a 10' pole for that reason alone!!! If you watched this video Nick says his X goggles have a problem and need to be repaired by the manufacturer. Bummer! I know he hasn't used them much. That's an issue with the VTX's too. They burn out or fail for some reason, way too often and it's been a big issue with Walksnail and even more so with HDZero (Analog2). Terrible reliability.
      So, calling one product less expensive when it has failures and issues with reliability, well that's simply not taking into account all of the replacements and failures you're gonna have to pay for! Adding tremendously to the overall cost of getting into a system.
      Bottom line: If DJI wasn't around in the FPV market, Walksnail would certainly be my choice. HDZero... Why does anyone buy it when the image quality is essentially 10 - 15% better that analog for way, Way more money. It's by far the most expensive FPV system. Many say it's literally 1000 - 1200 bucks to get started! Everything is extra.
      But, when DJI is here and the gear is so damn good and the image quality is unsurpassed and superb, why buy second place? It's cheaper for 1st place and the performance will have you flying places you never thought you ever could! Seriously!
      Some will say "Oh DJI doesn't have low enough weight whoops". But neither are Walksnail's or HDZero's whoops!
      It's all about weight with whoops!
      And even the lowest weight whoops in those two digital systems are too heavy. Plus, the newest and best cameras for analog are soooo damn good we all just need to fly analog whoops with great cameras, and not the junk Caddx Ant and other barely flyable cameras that are the cheapest cost. Buy great, light cameras for whoops and you'll be amazed at how great the image quality is even when compared to the digital ones from Walksnail and HDZero. Remember, we're not gonna broadcast our whoop video on the 10 o'clock news! We just need to be able to see clear enough to fly in our goggles! I saw a race Botgrinder was invited too and no one raced with anything but analog whoops! And the image quality was quite good on those analog whoops. Better than years gone by...
      You don't always have to buy the cheapest cameras or other products! Often, for a very small additional cost you can do a major upgrade on the image quality by not always using the bottom of the line camera! 👍 Manufacturers always want to use the cheapest camera, to keep the price down, but they aren't the one flying these whoops! We are, and instead of using a $15 camera, if you upgraded to a $20 or $25 camera, the difference is between using a 3 out of 10 to a 10 out of 10 ... For what? A ten dollar bill? That's a gimme! 😎🤘💯

    I'm gonna be straight forward and give my honest opinion...
    I love your videos - reviews, in fact everything you do! BUT...
    Nick, you're a great guy and I know you don't do this channel for the money. I've been subscribed since around 2014 or 15. Your videos have been inching up in length over a long period of time. Now, they are simply too long, with too much stuff that could easily be trimmed off in the edit. So often, guys who make videos think this and that are too important to lose in the edit, but THEY ARE NOT. I for one, and I'll bet a lot, that I'm not the only one who never watches all of your 26 minute videos. Nick, you used to do great, concise, super inclusive, detailed videos in 10 minutes. We don't need so many full flights! One is fine. Your outside vs inside videos are not that different, because you fly a route in your own yard, and we don't need both. How about half inside and half outside totaling 4 minutes max.?
    I would expect the metrics tell you this, but I'd expect you are rarely getting anyone watching all the video or all the video to the very end. Bro, they're just too long with way, WAY too much flying. You go look at every single one of the videos put out on this quad and I'll bet yours is by far the longest. Anyway, back to olden days of 10 minutes would help your channel and people enjoy it more.
    The last thing: God, please, Please help manufacturers stop making any more of those friggin' Cinewhoops! What? Are we over 100 to choose from yet, or is it over 150 now? LOL It's beyond ridiculous! With the amount of people actually into FPV and buying BNF quads, there's gotta be some that have barely sold any of a certain model at all, with so many to choose from! I see a huge CLEARANCE SALE on Cinewhoops in the near future! How could any store ever come close to carrying 1/4 of all of them that are out there!!! STOP 🛑
    Side note: Many of them suck too! Or, like with GepRC, so close to ones they already put out it's ridiculous to call it a new model!
    Thanks for listening. 💯💙😉
