This is it. As as computer dude, I have been looking for different things to do to get away from any computing stuff. I have ordered the kit and now watching different videos. I have plenty of ideas that I going to apply. Thanks for the video, it was very helpful and easy to watch/learn. Thumbs up.
A quick tip, if you can't get/can't afford the graphite paper, you can cover the back side of the paper with the image with a pencil, then flip the page over and trace it
this is a great refresher for those of us that are just getting back into wood burning but I would like to see more close ups of what the burn looks like! from a distances even my bad work looks good!
Adriana Ariza-Jones ,@5minutes she says the tips she changed out....so fun did it last night- I just burned right over paper from my printer-did the details by eye and just made up the rest. Definetly have a scrap piece to rough draft in between....learned the hard way.;) I made angel wings...
Hiya Chris, another great video, may I ask, is it ok to change the tips while the tool is still hot? Also my versatool seems to heat up then go cold then heat up again etc, is that normal or would it be because i'm using this in the UK with a step down converter plug ?
Is it smoking or making a burning smell? Is it strong smell or not at all? Doesn't look like any smoke. I received a tool for Christmas but I haven't used it because everyone said I will need to be in a ventilated area.
Since I read “pepe amazing plan” (Google it), I do think nothing will ever surpass it as a great wood working book. The book contains appealing photos and drawings and reader-friendly text. This is a “must have” woodworking book simply because everything you need to learn about wood working is found here and it really walks you throughout the topic well.
I'm sure I have the same took as you but mine doesn't burn that well. I lightly press but I have it all the way up and it takes several passes to get it that dark. If I press hard the grain of the wood wants to take the iron off in another direction so I make sure to press but I see you work smoothly through with light pressure and still get dark lines. Why the difference?
Maybe it's the type of wood. I was practicing on a harder wood tonight and it was doing what you're talking about, where the tool got caught on the grain. I think a softer wood will make the tool flow easier.
what is the name and brand of the tool that you are useing. I'm looking to start wood burning. I have been wanting to for a while and I haven been able to find a good tool to start with. I think the one that your useing will be good personally. thanks.
It is the 'Walnut Hollow Creative Versa Tool' and is available at Amazon for about $25.00. You should buy yourself also the book of 'Pyrography for beginners' by Sue Walters. This will help you I hope.
Thank you for video, it was nice to see you complete a project. I had a small experiment with burning my logo onto wood and it turned out quite nice too. Here is the link just in case you wanted to have a look at it. :))
I don't recommend the tip she uses. I've used that exact same one, and it can't seem to get hot enough. Even a few experts at a wood burning store near me told me that. So I spent about 100$ on a good wood burner, and about 100$ in tips. Trust me, it's way better.
I am retired and own a small shop where I carry out woodturning, create musical instruments, and some cabinetry. I possess a shelf full of woodworking textbooks - but I discovered this woodworking book, “Bαzοmο Tdy Plαn” (Google it). The comprehensiveness of this book is unbelievable. It has decent coverage on each and every topic. .
I have to say that “pepe amazing plan” (Google it) is a great woodworking book. Both novice and some skilled carpenter could gain lots of general details using this reading material. I have been very amazed how frequently I use this to look up woods at places like to restore and also salvage spots.
This is definitely the best woodworking book I`ve ever read, “pepe amazing plan” (Google it). The book consists of attractive pictures and drawings and reader-friendly text. I look at this book a "must have" since it supplies a wide range of information on just about everything working with wood working and does it quite well.
This is a superb woodworking book, “pepe amazing plan” (Google it). I`m a graduate of a one-year carpentry program from a local tech college. Of all the books I`ve read during my study about woodworking, I think this is the ideal book I`ve read so far. It includes useful images and goes over almost everything.
I love this woodworking book “pepe amazing plan” (Google it). Not only does it cover woodworking strategies, but it even describes the expansion cycles of trees that lead to the characteristics that craftsmen find favorable in lumber. I also provided my father another copy.

Beautiful Wood burning work. A.C. Moore

Exactly what I do. U can color with pencil on the back and trace on the right side .
My grandfather did that when he was young. I still have his masterpieces

very nice ! you give me idéas !....
I'm curious about the wood. What kind, how thick, I don't see any grain is it painted? Great Tutorial. Thank you.
1:17 is when the wood burning really starts
Any sort of fumes is hazardous, so how do you deal with the fumes from burning wood?
a little fan that blows the smell away and do it outside, a mask if you can stand it
awesome, great tutorial thanks
Is it smoking or making a burning smell? Is it strong smell or not at all?
Doesn't look like any smoke. I received a tool for Christmas but I haven't used it because everyone said I will need to be in a ventilated area.

Awesome
Can the tool be used on leather?
I use the same tool to unscrew the tip and replace it!
Do you have to be like really steady with the wood burner??? When I do it it's like really wobble! I can draw on paper, my drawings are OK.
Good picture and video. How do you change the heads when still warm?
I saw she uses those tiny pliers.
Dobre 👌 idem na to ale neručím za kvalitu
Thank You - I mam going to do this. Thank You so much.

Has anybody tried pine? Does it work well?
What happens if I Mark my design with a marker instead of pencil??
great work.
what kind of paper did you print it on, is it special transfer? laser print?
what that kind of wood?
i love it
What burner were you using?
do you sand the wood before you start burning?
Not normally. If you are using a different type of wood, you might have too. If you use craft wood or normal pine wood, you wouldn't have too.
i was wandering what type of burning tip you were using?
Saludos y gracias mujer hermosa.
Does she use paper as the stencil?
what is the name and brand of the tool that you are useing. I'm looking to start wood burning. I have been wanting to for a while and I haven been able to find a good tool to start with. I think the one that your useing will be good personally. thanks.

Paige Bachman OMG TOO MUCH MCR DRAMA IM CRYING

Jeanette Shields
That's cool
I need to know where to get some wood like that
Hobby lobby
What wood do I use please
You're probably going to strip the burner to where the inserts will no longer screw in by unscrewing and screwing things while it's still hot.
You'd have to use a fair amount of torque to strip the threads. Screw it in until it's snug, not tight.
can I use wax paper
Thank you for video, it was nice to see you complete a project. I had a small experiment with burning my logo onto wood and it turned out quite nice too. Here is the link just in case you wanted to have a look at it. :))

Salma Osama Any arts and craft supply store sells it like
Hobby Lobby , AC Moore and Michael’s
How many of you all thought she messed up when she started stamping the T?
Excelente.!!!
Can you make decent money selling these types of things?
You need to film on the other side. We can mostly only see the back of your hand, not exactly what you are doing
I don't recommend the tip she uses. I've used that exact same one, and it can't seem to get hot enough. Even a few experts at a wood burning store near me told me that. So I spent about 100$ on a good wood burner, and about 100$ in tips. Trust me, it's way better.
