I am loving these angracoide miniatures. Love The flower on Brenda’s present,so cute. My leonis has curly ends at the end of his fan but think that was because he was on a mount too narrow, have now re-mounted him so he can grow more upright. They are a wonderful genus.

Lynn Smith they are indeed! I just adore them and the way they change the greenhouse atmosphere at night when they are in bloom. By far one of the most fragrant orchids I’ve bloomed has been the didieri. I’m super eager to see the Podangis blooms as well, Brenda hit a home run with that one! I see everyone growing Leonis in baskets but I wanted to mount it, so the standing mount was a happy compromise. It really seems to like it so far and it’s starting to get covered with live moss of some sort that is releasing lots of awesome spores in and around the tank. Anyhow, I think I am most eager to see it and the Oeoniella blooms this winter/spring but I’ll take what I can get! Thanks for watching! Stay safe!

Thanks Terry!! I’m fortunate that the tent holds its humidity well or the miniatures could be a real pain. Fortunately I haven’t had any issues yet. Thanks for watching, stay safe!

Honeybees and Orchids thank you for watching!! I’ve been slowly getting the hang of these plants and I’m happy to pass on any advice I can to help folks expand their collections! Can be tough but it’s always possible! :)

cbr6f2 thank you!! No, it’s actually in an extra bedroom with a northeast facing window that has some tree cover. Been a great setup as long as I don’t get plants that require full sun all day!

Take a look at Springwater Orchids on eBay. He usually has the native Florida ghost orchid available. I’ve always been happy with the plants I get from him.

Milan Lysak oh dear..... another! Lol
I seem to have a knack for some slow growing plants. I’m determined to bloom some of my non bloomers this coming season, even if it means lighting upgrades or thinning out the herd a bit to get more light deeper into the grow space. This summer was much less hot the way I ended up growing but I’m going to have to start the frozen bottles in another month or so if things don’t cool down naturally. I hope all is well!! Stay safe my friend!

@@CloudforestVibesOrchidsMore well very first spikes seemed to take ages (6months I believe) to flower. But after that they either cut their times or I wasn't as bothered as they already bloomed for me and knew what to expect 🤔

Milan Lysak interesting, I will have to keep that in mind! I’ll add them on the twinkle and encyclia list of slow spikers! 😝
