The latest phoenix buff in Valorant was honestly a pretty good one.
It gives him the opportunity to perform some insane outplays, and just generally be more viable
inside ranked queue. Add the buffs to the newest map Bind and he honestly becomes an A-tier pick, when before he was hated by almost all.

Phoenix is generally seen as one of the WORST characters to play on maps like Icebox due to the long angles and large amounts of open space. Thankfully though, there's just enough cover around the sites to make it work. You can easily flash around boxes on A site, or through viper wall to get free space when attacking. B Site can be pushed fairly easy with a simple flash through the wall, or a counter-wall through their Viper's wall. Phoenix honestly, is pretty good on this map. Unfortunately, most see him as a troll pick on Icebox.

15:58 fun fact, the Phoenix wall can be curved by holding left click after you throw it and moving your mouse, it you move it above a box or other object like tube for example, the wall will actually go up onto that surface and will eliminate the gap that is formed if you just shoot it at a wall
