One design issue I think, is you squeeze the stem and click it twice to advance your songs. On 3rd gen you tap the large speaker. The difference is by grabbing the stem each time, you tend to loosen the bud fit in your ear. Not always, but the bud falls out a few times while running. The old tap to change never had that problem for me. I would not have changed that tap function. That said, the newer Pro version sticks in the ear, almost airtight if you want that. I do not like that Airtight fit. So that's why I'd stay with this version as the best trade off of comfort, use, and overall feel.

Eu consegui fazer o reparo usando um fone de ouvido também bluetooth da xiaomi. Abri o fone de ouvido da xiomi, removi o alto falante que por sinal tinha o tamanho identico ao da Motorola e fiz o transplante. Estou usando ele ja faz uns 3 anos. O fone ficou com uma certa falta de sincronia no volume comparado ao direito. Mas resolvi através do modo de acessibilidade do android, onde reduzi um pouco do volume L. Ajustou certinho. Melhor do que da 300 Reais em outro. E olha wue o da xiaomi que usei custou menos de 100 reais.

At the beginning of the video you take your tweezers to remove some white plastic 0:50 that is certainly very important to make sure little water can get in it, but at the end of the video 5:41 just before closing it again, you do not replace it with anything?
Bought the Airpods Pro when they first came out only to find out later that early units were plagued by transparency/noise cancelation/ lack of bass issues in one or both earpieces - mine have been away for repair twice already and need to go away for a third time.....not Apple's greatest creation 🤨

Great sound, features, etc. initially. Then a month ago, out of the blue, the left ear gives a howling feedback, bass deteriorated soon after. Mics went right after. Never dropped, never got wet. Apple checked and said my serial did not qualify for repair under their defect program. Diagnosis test failed. Then he eloquently recommended seeking another pair at the store or, with their authorized third party merchants (aka Best Buy, Target) for significantly less than Apple Store. I used mine daily too between my personal iPhone and the job’s Android. I don’t know if I want the APP 3 or go with Beats. I guess Apple Care is something to seriously consider going forward. Meanwhile my wife and daughter are still rockin’ their AP 2’s from 3+ years ago. No problem.
My AirPod gen 2 left side always disconnected after connected to iPhone or MBP for couple minutes. It also shows big different charging level between left and right. So I assume the battery of disconnecting one is dropped. Do you have any idea how to fix this? I already cleaned up the pod using cotton bud and also the port on the AirPods, still no luck. Apart from deep cleaning and degreasing, these very small devices are not meant to be serviced. In the event of failure, the individual headphone, or the complete kit, is to be replaced. Apple headphone users would be very well served in buying the AppleCare protection plan to contend with these contingencies. Moreover, with these small and lower cost items, a user has to come to the realisation that he/she will need to eventually replace the unit at their own cost, then plan accordingly. These delicate AirPods just do not last forever.

That with these wireless Bluetooth earphones, these units are just not forever. And, the unit will not last 36 months or more. The user needs to have the intellectual maturity to accept that after 24 months, these puny integral batteries will wear out which means the entire package would need to be replaced. Moreover, the user has to accept that to ensure a pleasant experience with these expensive AirPods over the 24 months service life, one has to take the paid AppleCare protection plan from the outset. Only a total moron buys a fancy expensive iPhone 13 Pro and not take AppleCare! If a user cannot accept these simple realities, then the user needs to switch to a more affordable brand of wireless headphones, so that the financial aspect becomes less of an issue. As for environmental concerns with discarded batteries, or discarded headphone units, traditional wired headphones are the only true solution.
are you dumb or you just work for apple? Applecare sucks! I had it for my AirPods Pro and right when it expires AirPods start whistling and making rattling sound, now because applecare expired. Apple will not help so it’s pointless getting apple care. After researching I found out this whistling/rattling problem has a free service program recall for AirPods 2020 but now AirPods 2021 which is what mine are so yeah screw applecare! Cambo can you please fix my AirPods from this stupid rattling sound? Apple has failed me.
