Ever since day one 909 Festival has gone above and beyond to put together a well-balanced musical program. Playing a major part since the early beginnings have been three simple basics; celebrating the pioneers, inviting fresh quality artists and supporting the locals.

The festival pays homage to the iconic Roland TR-909 Rhythm Composer that came to define house and techno music as we know it today. We created an online version of the TR-909 drum machine, making it available for everyone with an internet connection on both mobile and desktop.

Held! Dimitri is altijd alsof je op reis gaat binnen zijn universum van buitengewone platen
Niet alleen kan hij goed draaien, maar hij is ook reuze bescheiden, hartelijk en een goede vriend.
Dimitri Kneppers heeft meerdere malen bij ons op Phantasia Dance Parties gedraaid tussen 1990 en 1995, en met succes.
Krijgt hij maar 5 minuten?!
Top tijd in de Roxy 1987 Dimitri bedankt voor je mixen en super avonden!!! Je bent een topper man, nog steeds. (Een Roxy Ganger van 1963)

Als je aan komt gelopen en nog geen dj gezien hebt, hoor je altijd direct of Dimitri wel of niet draait. Er zit altijd net een laag meer in. Het wordt nooit plat, altijd net ff moeilijker, afwijkender, met veel meer verhaal. En daar kan ie soms best lang voor uit trekken dat verhaal. Maar het wordt altijd beloond! Hoe vaak wij mekaar al niet hebben aangekeken: yep. Duidelijk Dimitri plaat weer dit! En dan concluderen: hij flikt het weer! Held!
Écht he. En juist die specifiek Dimitriaanse spielerij met vooral korte maar opzwepende spacy push& pull geluidjes op dat opgevoerde maar wel sexy en sympathieke tribal trommel tempo met daar boven een lekkere vocale of hysterische aciiid fluit, dan wat thunderwolken binnen laat rollen, de boel openscheurt en de zon weer laat schijnen. Heeerlijk🌞😊🥳🎈🐬 zn verhaal is en blijft uniek, hij heeft zeker een Helden plek👌in mijn top 5 tussen Digweed, Sasha, Deep Dish, Steve Lawler🌼🌞...en gezien wat hij meegemaakt heeft, heel erg blij dat we nog van zn muziek mogen genieten🕊

He’s the godfather of Dutch dj’s, the original Dutch super dj. A true grandmaster and when he is on his game one of the all time greats globally.
Best Dutch DJ ever too exist. No one had a better ear for gems like him.
