HSRP is standardized under RFC 2281 but licensed by CISCO systems. Jeremy you're doing a wonderful work thank you for your great lessons.

You can use any interface, there's not difference!

I have a pair of HSRP routers in the same group, I have verified connectivity between them (plus they are in the same ospf area) yet the HSRP packets on packet tracer seem to stop at the L3 switches connected to each router, rather than being passed on and eventually making their way to the other HSRP configured router. Any tips with this? Happy to provide more info/config if needed!
