I know a subziwaala in Mohali who upgraded himself and now takes vegetable orders via whattsapp, takes payment via UPI and delivers within 5 km radius. Now his business has grown so much that he now takes orders from Chandigarh and Kharar, has delivery boys on payroll. Is he too part of international conspiracy ? No, he innovated his business model by catering to customer's need.

@@edutainer2073 it's not about cost price alone. It's how you do your business. I generally don't prefer online eateries because they overcharge against what you pay in their restaurants. FMCG sector can do deliveries, and some do like Easyday if you are their member. Also you don't get what you want in 1 store and then have to roam about to find that 1 thing missing in the mart.
And it happens when a bigger business cuts down its cost so low to drive out all the other competitors, and it happens all the time. With online being an option finally the customer can get anything by comparing all the brands throughout and outside India to get a better price and quality. No more would we get stone ridden rice, and if they still sell it we have reviewers who can alert the customer about the unscrupulous activities of the seller. Yes there should be some checks to keep the local sellers in business but the same scrutiny should be applied to all the individual retailers that is now applied to Amazon, Flipkart et al.
