This video is wonderful. I love how detailed your instructions are. I do have a question, instead of slip stitching the fabric around the zipper could you sew it in using a machine? Was it too hard to do it that way?

Using signature makes your lessons more visual and repeatable by watcher at practice. Your models of bags and using materials can help to mask not ideal work of beginner. I'll try to sew some your bag. It's hard to choose a model, because the most of your models look very good (especialy back bags). I wish you a sea of inspiration and energy to implement your creative ideas =))

What type of outer fabric do you use?? It is very hard. Don’t you use interfacing?

I used jeans fabric in this video.
I didn't have to use interfacing, because of it was already thick enough to make back pack.
If you use normal cotton fabric, you need to use interfacing like you mentioned.
