Great video, but I don't understand why would he worked in Ableton Live with Help ("What's new?") window opened and taking 1/3 of the screen estate. How come he didn't noticed it or bothered with it ?
I don't know about that, buts a pretty common term in the creative industry I think. In video editing "killing your darlings" is a pretty common term for having to get rid of shots/edits that you poured alot of work into, but don't serve the video as a whole, and therefore have to go.
