An American Dj was like " I love amapiano and its easy to make an amapiano beat " I was like nope its not if you were not born into the system, these beats comes natural to amapiano Djs here in the south.. we feel and understand these type of beats. You can't go to school to learn Amapiano. We went from kwaito, deep house , etc and now this. We were dancing to the old versions in our mothers womb, sounds from " Kasi " hence we can't relate to electro house music, it sound wack but cool to those who understand it. It's too complex, you simply can't understand it but you can try to imitate the sound but to locals they'll feel there's something missing which will be undescribable
As I've always said, no one can make an Amapiano better than a South African DJ. Even Nigerian and Tanzanian artist have dived into Amapiano, but their sound is not as rich, complex and exquisite like that of South African Amapiano DJs.
A large part of making (producing) Amapiano comes from living it - its a lifestyle. A significant part also comes from understanding its music theory and its place in the electronic and analog genres how it contrasts to house and techno. We can talk more about this if you're interested. I talk about these two genres in my book "Professional Application of Sound and Film in an Art Studio Setting for Improving Quality of Life and Effects on Neuroscience - A Thesis: Sound and Film in Art Studios For Better Quality of Life" Amapiano music is made by inspiration using great Amapiano Artists as examples. But all music must pass on a message, a mood, a feeling, and cookie cutter DJ studio Amapiano does not have this "soul" that an artist provides. So, can Amapiano studio techniques and music theory be learned to produce Amapiano by a skilled electronic music producer - yes; will this artist have that Amapiano "soul" of knowing when it sounds "just right", maybe? maybe not? I dont know. It depends. Also, what does it mean when a non-South African resident produces and releases Amapiano music, is that viewed as music appropriation or music genre growth and popularization; what is the intent. Does the intent matter. More questions than answers really. I wrote an Amapiano track, its just-ok - its shallow, but I enjoyed making it! (NoteCodeLuv - Bright Eyes Like Blue Skies; See my sound cloud) I enjoy listening to Amapiano more than making it because I enjoy the lyrical aspects of song writing more than writing Amapiano (and because its not my genre, but it does not mean I dont love it - I tell all my colleagues about it). Furthermore, Amapiano is not my music genre, but I loved working with the LogDrum Samples, and I am excited and I learned various logdrum/sub-bass and percussion overlays to accent the log drums. Will I be dropping an Amapiano album, very likely not. Will I be writing a poetry and lyrics book in the near future (6 mo to 2 years), Absolutely. Stay locked. I already have one book on Amazon, more coming! Stay Locked Fam! I love Amapiano

South Africans have done some amazing things with house music over the last few years, they have totally taken it and made their own original sounds, so much respect for these producers. It also makes me so happy to see so many positive young people at a party. Much love from Ireland.
Love it! Africa rise up!

@@lushenchetty7444 WHERE CAN I HEAR YOUR BEATS LUSHEN
@footcrab I don't know if you know this but house music originated from Africa, Rock N Roll originated from African Americans, Jazz, Blues, Country etc. These sounds came from us first and were taken. What you are hearing isn't a replica it's the original.
@@rebeccasmith1008 I don't understand this need to claim music, no one can claim something so universally loved. And anyway, what does claiming something that doesn't belong to anyone do for you?
no other country does music better than south africa😎😎😎😎

Kabza ndiwe Mbuzi (in my language it means you’re THE GOAT), with love from Zambia 🇿🇲
In Zulu you would say 'Kabza nguwe Mbuzi' Bantu languages have similarities😊
Which Zambian language do you speak? I had a Zambian friend back in high school she was Bemba.
That’s swahili if I’m not wrong
There's Zambians with zulu ancestry, I'm sure youre part of the Ngoni?
In Swahili it has the same meaning 😀😀
RESPECT! To the person behind the camera 📷. Keep up the standard
