Just because a man spoils a woman with money and material possessions then it doesn’t mean he treats her well, he was a bit cheeky abt her ironing his clothes etc and his mum wasn’t on Megan’s side with that when Tel moaned to his mum about her, his mum should’ve told him that he was able enough to do it himself.

Hi guys, I'm french...can somebody explain me what is a promise ring ? Is it an engagement ring just before the wedding or is it just a ring to say that you love someone ? (That doesn't exist in France ahah)
It’s like a sign of commitment and like a promise to always love a person.
A promise ring is a sign of commitment between two people. Often, it is the first token of a serious relationship. A promise ring is given with the understanding that it will be replaced in the future by an engagement ring (if the couple believes in marriage). I’m not sure in other countries but in Canada it’s not really a thing. You would maybe find young teenage love doing something like that. Who think they’re going to marry their high school sweethearts 🙄🙄 But not adults.
It’s not overly a thing in the UK either to be honest. although some people do it. It’s a gesture to essentially say I see a future where I marry you, and I want to promise that one day o will propose to marry you.
