Mitch you have outdone yourself! What a great project. You and Susie will enjoy the convenience of just hopping into a van to go camping. Its also nice if you are traveling. ~ Diane
Thanks Diane, It is fun to just take off and not worry about anything like finding a campground or stuff like that. We are going to start some trips coming up so stay tuned. Thans for your comment.
Thanks for sharing your van Mitch. Such a simple, yet comfortable, functional rig. I love it. My wife and I are looking into a Nissan to convert also. Average price for a bare Nissan is 30-40k Canadian. Thanks for the show, we enjoyed it. Happy travels.
Thanks for watching, I hope it helps you out as you start your built, Nissans seemed to be the easiest to build the way they built them at the factory. before you start have a plan on what you want and then go for it !
I think instead of the privacy curtains behind the cabin seats, I'd install a "closet" rod and hang my colthes there with some Ruby Triangles to maximize space
Fantastic! Quick question for those with experience with these vans: Aren't the Nissan NV high roof vans notoriously treacherous to drive on the highways and in wind due to that gigantic flat side (sail) effect? Great vans, but that scares me. I've been looking at the low roofs because of it but would love to hear the real-life experiences of others.
You've done a good DIY job!
Especially with the weight considerations
I love the Nv.. and it's gonna be a project of mine soon.
This is the perfect set up ! I’m considering doing this full time in Canada! I’ve heard great things about the diesel heaters!
Nice job!
Thanks for watching and your nice comment.

I really like your build. I am 6' 2". What are the dimensions of the bed?
It is just shy of 6 feet, I'm 5,7 and I can stretch out in it, thanks for watching.
Looks good. Wished you would have kept track of your hours you put in.
Thanks, I kind of did, it would be a little over 110 hours approximately. It did turn out like I envisioned with a few minor changes.
Nice work!
Do you find it difficult to sleep with the bed oriented like that?
no we don't, I'm short enough, 5-10 , its pretty comfy to sleep in. thanks for watching!
What size is the bed??
It would be a short queen, about 2 inches shorter then a queen, thanks for asking.
Grey will be problem , gray will set in the line andplug up .
How much solar panels
100 single panel on the roof, thanks for watching!
P r o m o s m 🙂
Ok
