Thanks for the review Zack! I’m looking to get into my first charcoal grill. Would you say this is worth the extra $$ over the Master Touch? Or would you say get the master touch and perhaps a side cart table or even one of those bbq dragonwing tables? My hang up with the kettles is the lack of a table space but don’t know if it’s worth the extra 225 bucks over a master touch.
I just recieved my Weber 22 in. Performer Deluxe Charcoal Grill in Green about an hour ago. I put it together but, what's that long chain that hangs from the inside for? Thanks
It's a match stick holder but also used for cleaning the burner... found this in the manual. INSPECTING AND CLEANING THE BURNER A) Turn gas to OFF. B) Remove the CHARBIN storage container. C) Remove orifice clip (2) and hose fitting (3) from the burner tube. D) Look inside the burner with a flashlight. E) Clean the inside of the burner with the wire matchstick holder (mounted behind the WEBER logo plate). Use the wire to clean the air shutter area, the venturi section, and the burner slots (4) on the inside of the bowl. Be careful when inserting the burner cleaning tool not to damage the igniter electrode (5). F) Recheck with flashlight to see that there are no obstructions. G) If necessary, surface of hose fitting can be cleaned with a brass wire brush. The
Fantastic review. Your information was thorough and well thought out. Your presentation was one of the best I've seen. No BS. Just facts. Thanks.

For me personally I think the higher price is worth it given the table space and storage underneath.

The chain is supposed to be a match stick holder. I guess it’s a throwback to the older webers.
