Very useful, the skewed room tip is really nice! Would be even better if there were chapters. My tip to beginners is to not harvest more than you need at the start. Chests hold less than you think and they rain can destroy stuff quickly if left in the open.

I would have the Enchantophone if only because you need it for certain Medallions.
A side tip, I found early in the game before you get supports, you can use Roofs to get that Elevated keyword, since they force the space above to be outdoors.
To deal with the Croa, I just make a foundation away from my farms and put a door on it.

Thanks -- some great tips here for me since I just got the game. On my first playthrough I got two of the earliest rooms with the grounded + skewed keywords. Now I know I can just ignore the keywords for now, and I'll unlock tech later that will let me set up more grounded rooms. Also the ledge workaround for skewed is awesome. I was finding it tortuous to get the roof tool to work for a small skewed room. It's really fiddly.

You can ignore actually some of the keywords entirely for the early game and focus on just getting the basics up and running until later and change things around and such as you get further along and more staff, more stability.

You can also just add a double thick wall, and make the inner wall 3 shorter than the outer wall, you can still put 2 hallways or a door combo to permit access without fiddling with stairs and such.
