Thank you for making this video. My oldest is 8th grade this year and Lord willing we want to finish the race!

Amen on the dual enrollment. We have graduated two thus far. We didn't do dual enrollment. Worked on passions, apologetics and logic, and Bible to prepare them to go out into this world. We had one become a fireman and one get a huge academic scholarship to a private college. Both different routes. But, the dual enrollment was not an issue.

Thank you so much for this!! While we're between years 2 and 3 of high school, this still helps. I appreciate your time, Alicia. I do have a quick question - what did you use for apologetics? I've looked at stuff out there, but trusting I know how strongly you feel about it (I do too), I'd love to know how you approached this. Thanks again!

Alicia, Thank you for being so honest and truthful with these mama's.
Such fear surrounding high school when colleges just want your money. Lol
Neither of our older two had any problem getting into college and or trade.

And, yes parents need to be extremely careful with dual enrollment because college is very liberal. Even Christian colleges. Once a professor gets tenure they can't be fired even if they change their views on Christianity. Know your kids and their personalities.
