Definitely not for beginners. Dialog is waaaaay too fast. Just because advanced level is super difficult doesn't mean that this is for beginners. Bummer. Need to look elsewhere for lessons.

I've been learning for 6 months, this is definitely not at my beginner level. I can pick out words in the first dialogue that I'm familiar with, but I don't understand the question.

TheThrillanmanilla Don't be discouraged! This video is not for beginners. There is an online series of audio files called Russian Made Easy that are so great to learn from; simply Google it. I've had such an adventure with the Russian language and I hope you do too.
@YouCan It depends on what you call a beginner. But, as pointed out upper in the comments, in this video there are all cases possible, a lot of vocabulary, some difficult grammar constructions (subjonctive for example). To really understand everything here, I mean the reason of all constructions and spellings, you need to know all the basics of Russian grammar. When you know this, you're intermediate, not beginner.

It is... if you only know a few words you shouldn't expect to solve this. Learn words and a bit of grammar then come back and you'll know some of these.

This is very useful and well made, but it is at least B1 level, and some of the vocabulary is probably even B2, so definitely not for beginners.

This is so useful and great!! I learned so much from this. I can understand 2/4 of it. And my answers is correct most of the time :D This is not for beginner beginners but you have to know at least a few words to understand it. Maybe watch their other videos where they teach words. You have to learn at least 2-3 pages of words to understand it. Don't blame the video makers blame yourself and learn words :D!! Have fun on your journey of leeeaaarrrnnniiiiggggg~

There are a lot of people crying in this thread but am I the only one who picked up a few words and now understand at the least that our sentence structure’s aren’t the same? It was an informative video ffs
Nice video! When I read comments like "this is not for beginners", I feel even more satisfied about I could easly answer all of the questions. I'm learning Russian for 1,5 years now, but only by myself. To undertsand live speech was very hard before I found videos like that, but now I can communicate in speech too, so thank you!
This is not for beginners, but is still useful, because there are more than 5 dialogues, with its russian and english version, meaning you can somehow get to know the words
I can just hear beginners telling their Russian friends in russian "We should specify a particular date". They would answer in Russian "Yes, that would avoid confusion and ensure completion of their obligations" What a joke!!

I would say this is at least for intermediate -mid to high level speakers
Overall the material is very good as my Russian is poor but here is another example "какои дизайн они выбрали?" is What design did they choose? AND BETTER FOR LEARNERS than the more fancy "What design did they decide on?"

I think this is suitable for the A2 level so it's not that easy. I'm not learning Russian right now but I could understand like 3/4 because I know another Slavic language.

I think you will find that "всё"is translated "everything" rather than "it". Despite all my criticism, this is a very useful video but it is for intermediate and certainly not for beginners.

You need to make translations easy and as close to the originals as possible. For example: Что бы вы посоветовали? is muchy better as "what would you advise? " and NOT "What do you reommend?" which might be Что вы рекомендуете?. Russian is a very difficult language for us to learn. Its easy when absorbed during an infant's sponge years.

This was very basic Russian. A good refresher
I answered all the questions correctly, but some foreign words came out and I immediately took notes, anyone who wants to practice can write down a number or write snapchat.
When I first watched this I thought It's not for beginner at all, but after a few months of hard learning I still think that it's for beginner haha
I am a native speaker and I assure you that it's not for the beginners. The subjects of the dialogues are too specific for the beginners because they usually can speak only about common things. But not about necklaces as they are speaking in the first dialogue.
"и вы увидите банк" is "and you will see a bank" so why do you translate it as "and you can see a bank". I recommend when translating : Keep it simple, accurate and try to follow the original word order as much as possible. DO NOT TRY TO EMBELLISH TO SHOW HOW GOOD YOUR ENGLISH IS

At any rate I don't think that this video is for beginners because we use the word pearl, in my opinion, very very rarely and it shouldn't be in a1 level.

These are nice dialoges but they may scare away the beginners. I personally think if you are a beginner, the easier, the better.

It speaks too fast for beginners!. The tough part is where the pronunciation of one word is stuck to next word. So it makes most words to be pronounced completely different in compare to when be pronunced individually.
