I know exactly why the first guy doesn’t want to get rid of it. He’s a collector. He likes his stuff and figures if he can get a close to retail price on it, he’d be willing to give it up. He has an emotional attachment to it, doesn’t need the money and in his mind that connection has a specific price tag. I have collectible items like that, which I keep as well. I also know why you scratch your head about it…overall, for the most part…you’re a seller. I also think that most people you buy from aren’t either…they just want to get rid of their stuff and if they can get a few dollars for it even better. This is all my opinion of course.
