I will have a couple smaller projects in between these barn-to-workshop videos.
I have a playlist set up to keep these in order.

You and I are kindred spirits freezing our asses off as we turn garages into workshops I'm about to build my own french cleat wall as well.

Looking forward to following this, Jon. I've been telling my husband we need to make better use of the space in our garage. He'll enjoy all of my suggestions, I'm sure 😏

@@Verbatim3859 cool beans. I'm sure I'll make some mistakes along the way. It's a learning experience for me too.

Cookies... Chocolate chip out of the oven. This is what makes ideas sound great!

That whole vapor barrier thing , on the Internet, is a kin to talking politics in church.
I think I sorta kinda understand it at this point.
    Cool progress!

@@Dancing_Alone_wRentals thanks, bud. Yeah, I used to run plastic over the insulation bats, but if the outside wall isn't fully encapsulated and condensation moisture works into the cavity, it can rot the wood. Smart vapor barriers allow moisture to dry out without allowing cold air to penetrate the living space. That's my understanding of the building science. The silver stuff is meant for attics, but needs to not directly touch the surface to be fully functional. I just ran some 1/4" cutoffs as spacers to offset the OSB from the material.
